Their purpose was to hold plants, which they do very well. They look nice, are very heavy and sturdy. Pay close attention to the measurements, as they are not very tall. They work fine for my purposes. Price not exceedingly good, but shopping from my keyboard beats taking the time and gas searching through stores.
Very attractive and space saving also. Ordered another set after I recieved the first and saw how wonderful it was. Square is much easier to work with than round. The color fit well with my woodwork color. A great solution for a cluttered sun window and the mismatched stands I previously had.
