We are pleased with the look of this chandelier but even my husband who is super handy spent a few hours assembling this and got frustrated. It arrives in a milllion parts, basically no directions, and you have to wire this entire unit, even down to figuring out the black and white wires, it is a challege. This is not for someone who is not experieved at assembling light fixtures or for womeone who has no knowledge of lighting. You will become too frustated and have to hire an electrician to complete. If you are expereinced, plan to spend a morning or afternoon on this project.
This has added so much to our kitchen. I was not expecting it to come in a box and need to be assembled, but I guess had I thought about it that would have been obvious. We got it put together fairly easily and it has made a wonderful addition to our room. I would highly recommend this chandelier!!

The chandelier comes in many pieces. Each arm has to be attached including all the wiring. It is flimsy and the workmanship is bad. The bottom ball/knob where each arm comes together has a screw that is not centered so the bottom ball never lines up properly.It took 2 of us approximately one hour to assemble and we haven't even hung it up yet. The wrench included doesn't fit the small nuts on the bottom so you'll need your tool kit to tighten them up properly.The price is right and I like the look. I just hope it doesn't fall apart on me.
