I bought this light fixture in October and finally got around to assembling and installing it this past weekend. The color description on-line would not be my word choice. This fixture has an "antiqued" bronze LOOK, mostly black brush strokes (visible up close) over a dull brass color. Looks more of a dark brownish color from a distance. Sturdy construction, glass globes were well packaged. I had originally bought this for my formal dining room, but decided to use in my eat-in kitchen area, because of the more rustic look, which went well with my adjoining family room. As a previous reviewer stated, the assembly was a little frustrating at times, and smaller fingers would have helped. My only complaint is that the nipple included with the mounting bracket was not long enough to mount the chandelier. Good thing I had a longer one on-hand.

This is a nice, basic chandelier fixture. The instructions are not thorough so hire a handyman unless you've got experience installing. Ours is hanging a little lopsided and we're not sure why. Please note that the glass bowls are whiter than the picture. Almost stark white. And we're having trouble finding light bulbs that don't stick out the top of the fixture.

This looks good once together and up but it was a bear to put together. It took my electrician and his assistant at least an hour and the holes were not lined up so they had to drill their own to get the thing to go together. I was slightly disappointed in the quality and difficulty in assembly. I am just glad my husband or myself didn't try because it probably would still not be up.

The light is awesome, beautiful and I would buy another one or reccomend it. The directions were some of the worse ever, it tells you to start at the top, but then you can't put the bottom together and you must have the tiniest of fingers once you figure it all out. But the light it self is worth the purchase and Overstock did its job and shipped it right away and great price.

The light is such a wonderful addition to my house. It looks like a million dollars hanging over my diningroom table.

It is a pretty chandelier however the color is actually black with some gold streaks painted on it. The wiring is all black so it will be a bit more challenging to install. Had I seen this chandelier in a store, we would not have purchased it.

LOVE it... I also have the 12 light chandelier in my entryway and it is just beautiful. I also use regular bulbs with this (actually the fluorescent ones) and the light is just wonderful. I get so many compliments on this it. Definitely will recommend.

Light received was a reboxed (and not well reboxed) model which was disappointing since I thought I was paying for new in box. Shame on you Overstock! Light is very pretty. Went together and up easily and looks great. Only issue for me is the color. It is up and hanging and will decide over the summer if I will repaint. If color was as stated I would rate this excellent.

Needed a nice chandelier for our dining room, but we have only 8 foot ceilings. It was hard to locate one that had a presence, but that would fit to scale. Most manufacturers are building these things to fit in homes with sky high ceilings. I was quite pleased by the size and scale of this item and it is going to work perfectly. The only drawback for me was the color. Other reviews mentioned that it was more black and silver than it looked in the picture and I did not like the finish at all. It was a simple fix with a can of dark brown spray paint. Now it is perfect for our home. Can't wait to see it up after renovations. One warning though...the light shades are quite narrow in depth so you'll need to find special light bulbs so they don't show over the tops of the light. I found some at Walmart and they aren't any more expensive than any other bulbs and still have the 40 watt size recommended for the lighting fixture.

several feedback comments indicated that this item was hard wired and difficult to install, however, that was not the case. The instructions and the preinstallation completed by the manufacturer was easy to follow and easy to install.

This is a beautiful fixture and was easy to install. My husband is semi-handy and was able to install himself with no problems at all. It looks great in the formal dining room and we love the look. Highly recommend this item!

The color was as described; however, I would have preferred a bronze color. The long chain was shorter than what I needed but the description, if I remember correctly, did not say how long it was and it hung shorter than I preferred, but it still worked.. The fixture is very beautiful and I would recommend.

This is the first item i ever bought from overstock.com and am very pleased with it. I wanted a lamp that would give a lot of light, and with 5 bulbs, this one does very well. I use the compact fluorescent bulbs, and after the bulbs "get going", it's a LOT of light, which i need in my dining room. I like the wrought iron look and the whole design. No complaints. Would buy it again.

The instructions could use some help. It also seemed like we got a used one since it was almost put together (which I really didnt mind) but found it semi tacky since someone drew inside the box. Overall, I love this one and it was worth the money!!

We bought two of these chandeliers..one for the entry and one for the dining room. Both are lovely in their new home!
