I will be the first one to admit that I did not believe in those air cleaners at all. Until Last month or so when I had to take my daughter to the doctor. She was not sleeping And had black circles under her eyes and her nose was always stuffed up, No matter how many times she tried to blow her nose was still stuffed. It was to the point where I put Vicks vapor rub under her nose just so she could breathe. Well the Doctor explained to me that my Daughter had allergies. She was allergic to dust and to mites. He then said that I should get a Air Purifier to clean the air in the house after I dusted it. So After looking and talking to my wife and friends about what kind to get they all said the Ionic was the best. That the air went through these blades and made the room fresh. I was thinking where¿s the filter. However after seeing this bonus pack offered on Overstock. COM where you can get two units plus two car units. I bought them. LET ME TELL YOU!! AFTER KEEPING THEM IN HER ROOM AND HER BROTHERS ROOM FOR A WEEK EVER TIME I OPENED THE DOOR IT WAS LIKE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR! I WILL TELL YOU IF YOU HAVE KIDS BUY THIS PRODUCT IT WORKS. IT REALLY DOES WORK. IM AMAZED I WISH I HAD BOUGHT THEM YEARS AGO WHEN THEY FIRST CAME ON THE MARKET. THEY MAKE YOUR ROOM JUST AS FRESH AND CRISP. WELL MADE ME A BELIEVER.. Same story as those below: bought twin pack, which IS a good value, since ionizers are fairly pricey. Had mold probolem in the windows at one time, pet hair, dust from work, etc. They worked well, stayed quiet, were easy to clean. One was on almost constantly, either on low or high depending on the time of year and air quality (we have "lung issues" in my house)Until one day, about 10-11 months after purchase *KABLAM* the Red Light Of Death appeared and refused to go off. No matter how much cleaning, how many times it was unplugged, cursed at, threatened, and plugged back in, did the red light go off. It just stopped working. I took it all apart one day and cleaned those sharp piano wires inside, cleaned every little corner. Apologized to it, put the 387354 screws back in, plugged the unit in and.....wait for it..........The red light was still on. :[The other one is still limping along and is only on a few hours a day, but I guess it's just a matter of time.

Good deal for little money. I really like the car air fresheners too. the siloutte is good and non obtrusive on the main units. I put one in my bedroom and the other in the TV room. they have helped me breathe easier.

I love this air purifier! I read a few reviews on it, and one commented on the smell produced by this unit. The smell is very like that of a summer rainstorm...or a lightning storm. Ozone is what you smell. I love that smell, personally... but it's really a light smell, and you have to get right up to it to smell it. Pleasant, in fact, one of my favorite things about this unit is that scent. *smile* The black stuff we wipe off the blades every week is evidence enough that it is cleaning the air wonderfully. We have some mold issues, and since putting one in my room and one in my dad's room, the air quality is so very much improved... I love it and would use them in every single room if I could afford to change out the others I bought before I got these... Wonderful, just wonderful. Thanks!

I bought this product for my parents house they are smokers. 2 days after we got them set up my dad noticed he was not getting up and having to cough and blow his nose for an hour to clear his sinuses. In fact my parents had a larger different air cleaner and it was so loud he could not hear his television over it so he shut it off. That loud unit is now in the basement and one of ionic pro's is sitting right next to his chair and he can't hear it run at all. He has been cleaning the blades about evey three days and gets black tary substance of it. The units are not full of dust and dirt in three days but I think he just enjoy's seeing whats on them and cleaning them. I'm a registered nurse and am very impressed I believe it will help my parents health alot.I bought the extended warranty just in case. I am not sure as to durability yet ,however if anyone will be a great test of the units it will be my parents. I'm going to buy a couple units for my own home soon as the price is wonderful when compared to other retailers. Kat 2005

I purchased this thing about 2 years ago. The ionizing wires have a built in cleaner that is insufficient. After a few months of use, the wires would constantly buzz and crackle. As a last resort, I cut the plastic case open to try to clean the wires by hand. I've tried rubbing alcohol and electircal contact cleaner. However, they still buzz and need cleaning every few days. The thing works well, but doesn''t last long.

Well only one of them works now. So probably would not recommend. Blue led ligh is very bright. It can be covered with duct tape but lighten whole room. They make a zapping noise at times can be disturbing but definitley cleans air.

I've had several Ionic air purifiers, and they worked well, were easy to clean, and didn't need to be cleaned often. These are simply terrible. They were dirty right out of the package...and almost impossible to clean. They went to Goodwill.

I am so glad I got these! I wanted to find ionizers that were small, inexpensive and didn't require me to buy a ton of filters. These fit the bill to a tee. No one can believe how little I paid for them considering how well they work. I have 2 cats and a small apartment and I get told all the time by people with pet allergies that their allergies don't flair up as much (or even at all) when they come over. If I ever make the decision to buy a house, I will certainly get more of these because they have served me so well. I don't really have a comment as far at the car ionizers are concerned. I've used them a few times if someone was smoking in my car, but that doesn't happen often enough for me to know whether it was the ionizer or the windows being open that got rid of the smoke smell.

I bought these becouse i was having trouble with alergies little did i know this was the worst purchase ive ever made they stopped working after a week and didnt even bother sending them back just threw them out not worth the trouble even buying..

We have been using these filters for about 2 weeks now. I checked the plates after 1 week and was pleased with the amount of dirt they attracted in that short period of time. The price was good since this is a twin pack and you get 2 but the add is misleading on the two 12 volt units that come packed inside. They are not filters, just ionizers so in my opinion they do nothing but take up space. Because of this I dropped my rating to 4 stars. They main units work as advertised. Some reviews say they don't last long but I can't tell you if thats true or not since we have had them only a few weeks. I hope they hold up well.

It could be bigger-but it works great.I am pleased with it,have them in all my rooms.

These two air purifiers are incredible. Put them on opposite ends of the house and it will purify the air in the house, not just in one room. The air quality improved for such a low price per unit is amazing. Compare this to the cost at any other retailer, and these come out far ahead.

The price is right and these do help, but they are flimsy and not nearly as substantial as the Ionic Breeze. But I've found nothing else to replace my Ionic Breeze machines as they go. They require almost daily cleaning, too.

I was looking for 1 air filter and the multipack was a better buy for me. My husband has one in his wrok room and we have one in the bedroom. The work great and are wonderful.

I gave this 2 pack a 5 star rating because so far it's doing the job. I'm hoping I have no issues with them malfunctioning in the near future.

I received the double pack to be used in a small apartment. I could tell the difference within a few days and noticed there was quite a bit of dust already collected. Unfortunately one of the units stopped working after 2weeks.I used overstock's live chat option and received a response from an agent immediately. They are now sending a replacement unit, at no cost.

So far, the Ionic Pro seems to be working well. We have noticed a difference in the house as far as allergies go. This is very easy to clean. My red light to clean has yet to come on,, however we clean the device when it starts to make a static. I have not owned the product long enough to determine its durability.

it works well only down side is it is only realy good for small rooms so if you have a big room you would have to use both of them in it or put these in the bed rooms and get the bigger one for your bigger rooms. other then that i really like them
