My son, who suffers from various indoor allergies, noticed a difference shortly after turning it on. It essentially makes no sound and is effective for reducing his symptoms of sneezing and a persistently stuffy/runny nose. We have only had it for a few weeks, but are satisfied that it meets our expectations.

This product works well to remove smell from your room.
I did the research, best price and value for an average size room(master bedroom).Bonus Car Ionizer perfect for long L.A. commutes in bumper to bumper traffic.
I started a new job where smoking is allowed in parts of the work areas, the air cleaner does take that smell away and the dirt I clean off the collection blades weekly shows what dirt the machine is taking out of the air. It is easy to maintain, very quiet, and nice looking.

Product works very well, and I am amazed at how fast the blades gather dirt and dust! The collection blades are very easy to clean. My only regret is not buying a bigger one.. which I'm definately planning on doing! The blue 'on' light is easily covered with a small piece of electrical tape or duct tape at night, since it is pretty bright. The car ionizer has been very nice for long trips, but again that blue 'on' light must either be faing down or be covered up at night!
