We purchased this product and use it in our daughter's room. Her allergies have been much better and have had no problems with the product so far.

I already had one of these, but since I moved to a bigger place, I found myself in need of another one. They are quiet, and they really do clear the air of smells and other impurities. I am not fully updated on the information with the ozone, but I have no complaints so car.

this is the second reburb ionic breeze I have purchased, extremely happy with both!

I didn't purchase one of these from Overstock but wanted to mention that these are not good machines. This product is one of the reasons why Sharper Image went into bankrupt. It releases too much ozone and is dangerous to anyone with existing lung disease (Asthma, Emphysema or Chronic Bronchitis) etc. I'm surprised these are still being sold and I'm even more surprise that Overstock is carrying them. Please Overstock take these off your site!!!

The Ionic Breeze SI867 GRY is a very good machine. The first reason is that it;s easy to clean. We had the Oreck machine before, it's hard to clean because the metal plates that collect the dust are enclosed and not reachable. This unit must be soaked to clean it out. You cannot reach the sufaces to wipe them off.. By contrast, the IONIC machine's blades whcih are charged with electricity and zap the particles which stick to the blades, has a unit that holds the blades that can be removed easily, and the blades simply wiped off with a damp cloth. Very easy. The other brand will tell you that there's not fan which draws the air, the therfore it takes too much time to clean the air. Well, yes, and no. If you have a room full of smokers, and you show up with one of these to clear it up, it's not going to do a fast job. But leave this unit on all the time, in a room and it will clear up all the dust a polllen in that room and the relief is really noticable when you sleep in that room.

I used to think Sharper Image's Ionic Breeze's couldn't be beat--until I bought a Mitsubishi PlasmaPure and an Amcor 90 and a Rabbit. The truth is this: If you have nothing to compare the Ionic Breeze to, then they seem good, but as soon as you fire up another brand, you start to realize that the Ionic Breezes do not work very well. You can chain smoke in front of the PlasmaPure and not notice you had done so 10 minutes later. Never so with the Ionic Breeze. The Ionic Breeze is good for light duty only. It will not pick up 99% of cigarette smoke. (No air purifier picks up all, but the smoke test is a good test.) I've come to the conclusion that the more and the more concentrated the filtration the better. I've come to a similar conclusion with vaccuum cleaners--the bags are an important part of the filtration. There is no substitution for a Hepa filter and even some charcoal. Plus the air needs to be vacuumed (sucked in). My Ionic Breezes have lasted on average 2.5 years.

I already own several Ionic Breezes and this one looks the best being silver. They all take alot of dust out of my home.

We have owned an Ionic Breeze before and loved it. We received the Ionic Breeze in a timely manner and it is working perfectly. I would definately recommend this product to others and Overstock.com.
