Computer Desk
Found the best advice from the reviews. The packing was pretty sturdy and luckily nothing got damaged. Took my husband 3 hours to put it together, which he has had experience before. So lots of patience needed, but was what we wanted.

Nice low cost desk
This is a typical low cost press board and laminate desk. It uses the typical interlocking hardware so makes assembly pretty straight forward. All in all a pretty good buy.

Exactly what it looks like on the site
It's not espresso. It's more like a dark brown/light black. I got an espresso colored buffet at the same time and it was a very different color (more of a solid brown). Very happy with the desk and it was easy to put together.

Poor Delivery Quality
I am terribly upset about this product. Not about the product itself, but it arrived in very poor condition. It literally looked like the UPS truck was going down the interstate and the door opened and it fell out. There were MANY pieces that were terribly damaged. It's full of cracks, pieces with missing chunks of wood, and dented all over. :(

First time order on O :(
I was hesitant to order furniture online but friends and co-workers said they have ordered from OverStock without issues. I even chatted with an OverStock rep to get assurances. When I ordered the desk, I noticed the weight was 86 lbs. That worried me a bit because I know how shipping companies handle these oversized, heavy packages. As I thought, the desk arrived damaged. A total of 4 pieces were cracked. The main piece (the desktop) was cracked in half. I really wanted this desk but to wait weeks to get a replacement, forget it. I just went to ikea and bought a desk. I blame mostly the shipping company on this one. I think they hire Ace Ventura types. The manufacturer is also at fault, they need to rethink their packaging methods. On the bright side, the return was pretty easy, just a waste of time though. I probably will order again with O but only small items.
