Nice Storage Bench
This is a nice storage bench with no assembly. There was a strong odor of paint/chemical when it arrived that took several days of airing and the application of cedar oil to remove. A nice addition to my guest room.

Beautiful Bench!
The bench looks exactly as described and shown. Gorgeous! It does need placed 4" from the wall to open the hinged lid. This is the only reason for my client's return. Not enough space in the room to leave the bench out 4". Also it came completely assembled! I recommend the bench based on its quality and design. Just be sure the 4" isnt an issue. The description does not say the bench is a wall hugger and is not. Therefore, I didn't give any thought about the distance from the wall. Yet it does need clarified apparently. :) Hope this helps!

Very Disappointed
First bench delivered was damaged beyond repair. One leg was completely splintered off. Overstock was prompt to replace it. However, the second bench arrived with a 2" black mark on the fabric top. This had to have been noticed by someone as the top is covered in saran type of wrap. It appeared to be a grease or felt marker type of stain. At this point I was tired of dealing with damaged products and decided to just keep the bench and put a decorative pillow over the stain to hide it. I did try to remove this stain with fabric cleaner but was unsuccessful. In all fairness, I can say this is the only product I have ever received from Overstock that had any issues at all and I do a tremendous amount of shopping with this site. This bench is very light and not the quality I would have expected. I thought it would be heavy wood but in all actuality it is probably made of bolsa wood or some other type of very light weight wood that will not stand up to wear over time.
