I had purchased this tile over 5yrs. a go for mydecking area at the time I only wanted a small space covered, but since I got my concerete patio cover with a sunroom I had to have the whole area covered, So I ordered again from OVST and the tlle is just as beautiful as the first set of ten, I wish they came forty to a box it would save me a lot of money.
it could be a weekend project, but because I have a lot to do and working full time I don't have the time nor the help to get it done in a weekend. it is easy to keep clean and lays out and conncets easily. I'll be back to order more, please keep it stocked".
I purchased these title about three years ago to put on my back patio. We were installing a small three-person hot tub and I wanted something nice to go underneath. The titles were easy to lay and at first the deck looked great and nicely complimented the landscape. However, after about 1 ˝ years the plastic connectors started to deteriorate break apart. Now after only about three years I feel the need to warn people when they go in my back yard that there are a number of loose wood slats. For the price, I thought they would hold up a lot better than they did. The wood doesn’t look bad the issue is with the plastic connectors holding the deck titles together. I do live in San Diego, which tends to be sunny about 75% of the time however; the deck is covered so the deterioration wasn’t caused by having the sun beat down on them.

Hello coachwalk3, to protect the tiles from damage, you would not want to cut the tiles, they also must be flat. We do not recommend placing them in the gravel or dirt. Thank you for shopping with us.overstockcustomercare1 on Jun 25, 2014

I'm not looking for door moulding. I'm looking for a transition strip for the flooring. I plan to lay the wood tiles on a concrete floor in a room in the garage. In the doorway where you enter the room i wanted to have a transition strip on the floor to make the flooring have a more finished look.
The question is do you have transition strips or any other solution for a more finished exposed edge?nchhote on Jun 3, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thank you for your question nchhote. We do not have any transition strips for the tiles. I'm sorry. Have a great day.overstockcustomercare1 on Jun 11, 2013

I have a 3- by 12-foot patio. How many boxes would I need? Also, how sturdy is the plastic underneath? Have you had problems with the plastic breaking? And if it does break, is there a way to fix the piece?sandyfog on Apr 13, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thank you for shopping Overstock.com. You will need 4 boxes in order to do your 3 x 12 foot patio. You can install the tiles over any type of surface. If you install over plastic there is not guarantee that that plastic will not tear. You would be able to disassemble and fix or replace the plastic.overstockcustomercare1 on Apr 19, 2013

What is the thickness of the tile? Can it be installed as the floor in my shower? If so, what should the subfloor be and is there a concern with the slope?boyagsxr03 on Mar 4, 2013Please enter a valid question.Answer This Question
Thank you for your inquiry. These tiles are 1 inch thick. I would not suggest using the tiles in a shower. The tiles are 100% wood, and could bend being soaked in water and little ventilation to dry.overstockcustomercare1 on Mar 6, 2013
The 8 slat design is one of the new designs introduced in 2009, offering a more affordable alternative to the classic 4 slat and 6 slat design. In this design, there are 8 vertical wood slats pre-screwed into the interlocking plastic base. This design provide a beautiful look for any outdoor decking projects, especially smaller areas such as balconies and small terraces. Our eucalyptus wood products are made of solid "Eucalyptus Grandis" hardwood, grown in 100-percent well managed forests in Brazil, certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). Eucalyptus Grandis, entirely different from the eucalyptus tree in the U.S., is as strong and as durable as the well-known Teak. On average, it is even from 10 to 20 percent more dense than Teak. With its density, straight grain, smooth finish, and honey color with subtle rose highlights, Eucalyptus Grandis is a first-rate choice for outdoor wood products. Comes in a Natural Wood Finish. 12 by 12 by 1-Inch Tile overstockcustomercare1 on Jan 21, 2013
