I felt a little silly spending this kind of money for a trashcan, but it's definitely worth it! I've never liked the way the foot pedal ones work, it is always hard to push the pedal just right. Guests love this since they don't have to use their hands to toss away trash. Another plus with this trashcan is that no odors, of course when you open the lids. So far so good for me. It's electronic and they tend to go malfunction after a while - but I sure hope that it'll last me a while. Definitely will recommend this product.
I bought one for my kitchen last year and also as xmas gifts but now needing to replace mine. The interior rim that holds the liner inside was thrown away by my kids in the trash and the battery compartment lid came lose and also got lost in the trash. I see another review had a similar issue. We've tried to tape the batteries in place etc but not working. I wish they made it better but can't find this shape touchless with AC so I'm going for it again and hoping my family will be more careful and also that they will "up" the workmanship on a future model.
WHEN I APPROACH MY THRASH CAN WITH DIRTY HANDS, I NO LONGER HAVE TO PUSH A BUTTON TO OPEN IT . WITCH I THINK TRANSFERS GERMS FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER! GUEST LOVE NOT HAVING TO TUCH TO THROW ANYTHING AWAY .I SIMPLY LOVE MY THRASH CAN. I KNOW I AM GOING TO BUY ANOTHER IF THIS ONE EVER BREAKS. WELL I WILL TELL YALL HOW LON IT LAST!!!!
great looking(though it arrived with a small dent) and very very user friendly. my dogs haven't figured it out yet and hopefully won't. but i love using it
