If you are looking for functional lighting, this is the piece for you. I was looking to put up some decorative pieces in a room that did not have place for a lamp and and a storage rack. This piece combined both and though there is not much you can put on each plate, it adds color to a dull room. The only thing I will caution you on is that the instructions are poor. I reassembled this lamp two times. The key is to start from the base of the lamp and also note that not all the bars have rings inside them to screw onto each other. The ones without rings are attached to the head of the lamp and the screws are already in the holes so you have to unscrew them and then rescrew them once the poles are inside the holes.

I was surprised at how much I like the 3 small glass shelves below the lamp. I put my "Trinkets" on each shelf, and its displayed nicely. It's just different. Never seen a lamp like this. I really love it. But, it was hard to get it to stand up straight, but I managed. But, Overall, Unique and looks like the picture, or better.

It came quickly, easy enough to put together, has a slight twist at top level, looks cheap over all. I'll keep it til it breaks and replace.

Once assembled, the lamp is solidly built. I put it together by myself and it took about 20-30 minutes. I put two CFL bulbs into it and it gives plenty of light. Once drawback is the switch. It's the in-cord type that's triggered by stepping on it. I find that to be not very attractive and it means leaving the cord out so that it can be pressed. Eventually I'll plug it into an X10 outlet so this will take care of itself. I would buy again, especially if you need some shelf space like I did. A bit on the pricey side, though.

This lamp was very easy to assemble and puts off a lot of light! Although it calls for 100 watt bulbs I put 60 watt in as it was too bright otherwise. Great value and looks great. Definitely recommend.
