I loved the Adirondack chairs when they first arrived. . Great shape, beautiful condition. It's only been a year and they look terrible. Definitely not an outside item. Very misleading. The chairs are chipped, split and look terrible in my beautiful brick firepit. Do not buy if intended for outside use.

I purchased 2 of these as a Christmas present for my parents, but they aren't worth the price...not worth any price actually if you want to sit in them. Both chairs had numerous cracked slats and I had to disassemble slats off of the worst one to salvage one chair. Same with the bolts...had to swap from one chair since the philips heads of many bolts wouldn't even accept the driver and the holes weren't properly aligned either. After taking an hour to assemble the chair it was so wobbly that I decided it wouldn't last a summer and sent them back. Maybe with better hardware they would be acceptable.

If you want a chair for decoration then this might be it, it is nice looking but not made to sit in or use. Thin wood and wobbly.

Putting together the chair was a little difficult. Firstly, I was sent the wrong nuts and bolts to put it together so I had to go to the hardware store to get the correct ones. I had to use an electric screw driver to get the bolts in. A screwdriver just wasnt doing the job. Pretty easy to follow putting together though. Once the chair was put together it really looked great. I purchased the chair in Oak and the color is truly lovely. It is a solid chair. I dont know how it would hold up outdoors as I have it in my guest bedroom which gives my nautical decor a wonderful touch.

I love these chairs. They are the most reasonably priced ones I found after much research. One chair came with a chip in the wood. Luckily it is not visible. Otherwise, a touch of white paint would be needed. The chairs have withstood thunderstorms and bright Arkansas sun.

These chairs look good for what you pay, and they are really soft to the touch...not itchy wood like most adirondacks..Look nice and are pretty durable. The screws are loosing up after a week, and you just have to tighten up. Shipping was only $2.00!

I bought 2 black chairs for my husband for Father's Day and I have regretted it ever since. While the chairs were easy to assemble, they are very unsturdy. The chairs have been outdoors for only 2 weeks and they both have cracks in the wood and the paint is chipping off. I don't think they will last one season. :(

I purchased two of these chairs for my parents new back yard and they absolutely loved them!!! They said the set up was easy and not too heavy so they are able to move them in the yard without difficulty.

Overall a great product for the price. Some frustration putting them together (i purchased 2 Oak), but the end result is fantastic. They are on my front porch and make it look great!

The center upright slat was loose. The screws holding the board in place were too short. I replaced those screws with longer screws and, so far so good.

Exceptional quality for cost of product. Some problems with screws for construction , screws too short for seat slats. Overall, excellent quality, very satisfied with product!

Nice quality . I can understand the criticism of the hardware as these screws will rust & stain pretty quickly & I intend on replacing the screws with stainless steel marine grade hardware soon . The paint looks like a 1 part exterior topcoat & even though it will need refinishing in a couple years it's not bad { a nice 2 part epoxy paint job down the road will be a fun project that will really preserve this chair for many years to come }. The chairs strong points are it's got a ly solid quality feel & look to it, it's an attractive chair ..

We bought these chairs about two years ago and they spent last winter outdoors in a St. Louis winter. The weather didn't seem to fade or damage them. We went with a pale yellow to reduce the fade factor though.

The description of these chairs touts the durability of the wood...but conveniently neglects to mention the poor quality of the paint and hardware. The paint started to crack and peel off within one week in the humid climate of Florida. The screws that put the chairs together have since started to rust and stain the bad paint job. I would not recommend these chairs to anyone in a humid or rainy climate. These would be great indoors...but who wants adirondacks indoors??

These chairs are great! Durable, nice finish, and easy to assemble. Hoping they stand up to being outside all winter.
