Love the screen. It is more yellow cream than creamy white as it appears in the picture. Looks lovely in front of my fireplace.

We inherited a non-working electric fireplace when we bought a condo. I removed the non working part. painted the fireplace white, and inserted this. Love it.

The color is off. It's more of a yellow tint than off white. It's smaller than I thought. I probably would have bought something else if I had seen this in a store. I am going to paint this and make a bigger base so it will look better in my house.

I initially purchased this to put on my bedroom wall as the focus point, but ended up putting it on my living room wall. I painted a large white square and put the fireplace in the middle. It looks very nice and I get lots of compliments.

This is a stunning screen. Purchased to use during the summer when my fireplace is off. My fireplace is very large (victorian) and is painted antique white. This screen is the perfect color screen for my light colored fireplace. The Hydrangeas are vibrant and add beauty to the room and decor. Very pleased!

I was pleased with the amount of heat the cans gave off. We dropped down from 3 cans to 1 can. Crackle and flame are nice. Now for the down side...emits a heavy chemical smell when it burns down to the end. Who knows what we're breathing in. The soot discolored the white fireplace, walls and nearly everything in the room. We need to paint in the spring. Looking for an alternative.

Needed a fireplace for our den to match the white coastal themed furniture and this fit the bill. I am using it as a console table beneath a mirror as I didn't need it for a tv stand. Directions were clear and I put it together by myself with no problem. We were able to cut down the house thermostat a couple more degrees, as the room gets really toasty warm in no time. Overall very happy with this purchase.

This is one of the best purchases we have ever made. The piece is beautiful. Our furniture is distressed oak and I was concerned about the matching, but it blends very well. Out television looks nice on top, along with a couple of small items. I have an array of family photos and candles and flowers on the wall behind it. The fireplace is beautiful and so facinating....even my husband who is a pretty good expert at most all things wonders how they made it so that the fire looks so real. Nobody would guess that it is electric. It heats the living room very welll, but now we do not need the heat so we turn it off. YES....you can have the flames and no heat!!!! I love to snuggle on the sofa at night with the flames glowing and the only other light are tiny white lights on my ficus tree and watch television. It has room for all your console pieces for DVD's, etc. JUST PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

What a great way to add warmth and dimension to a room. Ours is mounted in the dining room. It creates such a festive glow for special occasions or just dinner around the table. Its as simple to use as lighting a candle. Be sure to order the crackling fuel. It makes a big difference in the height and feel of the flame. We once ran out and tried to substitute a standard can of sterno. For starters, the can is too short and needed to be propped up. It also lacked the flicker height of the crackling variety. It does put out a bit of heat, but not so much as to make dinners with their backs to the fireplace feel uncomfortable. After several months of use, it stays virtually soot free. There is also a removeable platform for pillar candles. White pillar candles look nice against the black backdrop, but we rarely have them up because we enjoy the warmth of real flames so much. Your guests will be impressed!

I have a modern "loft" condo. I put this in the center of a polished concrete coffee table, with a white leather couch surrounding. The idea is that it would be a conversation piece when we had guests over, and a nice "family night" thing like a campfire. Assembly with 20 minutes, 2 people. Quality of all parts is high. Just as it does in the picture, it looks like a cross between a candle and a fireplace. The three of them add to this effect. It crackle subtly, and generates quite a bit of heat out the top. I have sprinklers in my unit, with high ceilings, so I ran a fan just in CASE it caused a problem. Reason this gets 4 stars is more related to the "technology" of the cans. They are smelly when you open and turn off. Not when burning. I would never put this next to a wall, for soot as well as heat/fire issues, but that is me. I didn't observe any soot on the glass walls. I've only used once. But there is a fair amount of "work" getting cans out, taking paper off, prying lids off (like paint cans), carefully putting them in, lighting with a long wand or match, etc. Surely I wouldn't want to do this for more than special occasions. So I think the perfect use of this is for that... for occasional use. Plus you have to realize that the BURNING COST PER HOUR is about $4.50 per hour. Plus your "labor" in setup. I can't compare to other fuel sources. By the way, this would be spectacular on a covered porch or balcony. Or in the center of a room at a party. And frankly in a commercial setting like a restaurant, etc. It's very elegant. I AM a bit concerned with little kids if I use this a lot, what the residue in the air is, regardless of the manufacturer's recommendation. Just like I wouldn't cook smores over "instalight" logs.

A really smart looking piece of furniture. The perfect size for a small wall that neatly organizes all media. The heater/fireplace is a bonus and is surprisingly real looking. Creates a wonderful ambiance. You will not be disappointed in this product at all.

This is an average piece of furniture that could actuall be quite a classy piece with a few easy cost effective upgrades. I really don't think it is worth the price and could be bought cheaper at a local fireplace store or a store that sells them. This is a pretty heavy piece and I'm not going to attempt to hang it on my wall. If I had an exposed brick wall, it would be perfect and enhance the features of the fireplace as well. Unless there is a sturdy wall, I would find an alternative method to hang this piece.

This was a great product. We didn't want the expense of putting in a gas or wood fireplace, and this being portable means we have more than one option to place it in. I can move the fireplace as I change the rooms decoration. May be back for a second one, if I can decide where another one will fit in the house.

received the fire place in a flat box... it took quiet a while for me to put together. ..someone with carpenter skills would not be a problem or take so long...I had a carpenter build a hearth around the bottom and attach the fireplace to the wall it looks nice.. i am getting ready to order another one for my granddaughters tree house
