  Absolutely beautiful! Took me 6hrs to assemble. Directions were quite easy to follow- and in English by the way. However, the finished product was worth every second I spent on it. I love it! Well worth the buy 😊.

  I am happy with the purchase and am glad I got it. The first one I received had bad scrapes on the front. Looked like a grinder hit it a few times so I had to return it. The return process was very quick and easy, though. The second one has a couple minor scratches, but I think I can live with them. Not really noticeable once hung. I didn't really want to return again even though it was fairly quick. I didn't want to take a chance that the next one be worse. (The site said they would ship the new one once the returned was received back to them, but they actually shipped within a day or two before they would've received it back.)

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color is just like the picture. The top & bottom is a mirror-like finish and the sides are a stainless steel finish (also on the very top and underneath)

  This gel fuel does just what the ads say: it burns, creating dancing flames, and it cracks and snaps just like a wood fire. It burns clean, with no odor and we have really enjoyed using this in a variety of fireplaces both inside and out. Since we don't have a "real" fireplace, we installed a wall hanging one and several table top fireplaces that all burn this gel fuel. The price at Overstock beats what I've found elsewhere.

  This replaced one that the switches burnt out, bought at OSH for the same price 5 years ago. I Love this fireplace more than thought I would. Very hard to make that final purchase and like others, it was a lot of money for an on line purchase. I had a few problems with the tracking information but it all work out in the end. This unit is super easy to put together. I am a 54 year old female and it took about 2 hours or less to put together by myself. The wood is dark but you can still see the wood grain and the slate add a little more color to the area. I love it and if it only last 5 years, I will be back for another one like this. The heater works great. I can't say enough about how nice it looks. I love the big size and the fact that if I move I can use it as a corner piece. If you buy this you will not be disappointed. My house is 500 square feet and this will be my main source of heat.

  I bought these to use in our fireplace instead of logs, which create a lot of smoke and pollution. They do create a little heat and burn for as long as the manufacturer states. Make sure to remove labels before burning! I was hoping they would be completely odorless, but they do create some kind of odor. Not nearly as much as a fire, but still enough that I can tell. I'll try them out more extensively next winter!
