This is a gorgeous piece. I don't have high ceilings so I used the shortest piece instead of the three connectors. I thought I woudn't like the diffuser, but it added a special touch. I'm using 2 light bulbs and its super bright. I love it.

The light arrived well packaged and when taken out of the box we were impressed. Upon assembly though, we discovered that one piece (the main screw out of the fixture piece which attaches to the ceiling) was installed backward. This made it so that the pendant posts could not be installed. Once we determined that it needed to be turned around the light looks great. We haven't installed it yet, but are looking forward to having it light up our family room. Also - you should note that you can semi-flush mount this light by screwing the shade directly onto the fixture. We were pleasantly surprised to realize this.

This lamp looks very beautiful in my living room. very modern and stylish! Love it! The price was just right, although it was too high for me to buy another 2 for my kitchen. So I do recommend it if you have the money, or else check out the cheaper versions (although not quite as nice).

Half the price of the fixture I wanted, but looks great in place. The shade is not top quality but you wouldn't know unless you were looking up close. Nice update to our kitchen eating area and was a fairly simple install.

I bought this light for our recently remodeled kitchen breakfast nook. I spent weeks scouring every local store that offered lighting and either couldn't find what I had in mind or found what I liked but the price was outrageous. I then turned to the internet and Overstock and this fit the bill perfectly. By the time I made my decision to purchase this they were out of stock so OS prompted me to put in my email addresst and they would email me when they got them back in stock. NOT! I got tired of waiting for them to email me and started looking on other websites for something similar when I decided to recheck OS just in case. They were in stock and OS never did email me so if they are out of stock for you check the website every couple of days, don't rely on OS to notify you. I put this up w/o my husband because I was impatient. The only problem I had was that the screws that secured the cover to the ceiling were a bit too long so it hung down from the ceiling about 1/4 " instead of sitting up flush to it. I was tired of dealing with it at that point and left it for my hubby to resolve later. He still hasn't got to it but it's not very noticeable, if you didn't know to look for it you'd never notice it.

This light exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a large drum shade pendant with 4 lights for a reasonable price (without being brushed stainless or chrome), which proved to be very difficult. When I found this one I was very excited but after reading the reviews was unsure whether to order it or not. Well, I'm glad I did, it is exactly what I was looking for, very elegant, but simple enough for my casual dining room. I think if you have a large eat in kitchen it would also look great. I was extremely please with the size, it is large, and exactly what I wanted. It's also really nice to be able to choose how high or low you want this to hang over the table. Bottom line, this was a great purchase and anyone looking at spending more money on this type of fixture, should think twice and give this one a try.

Purchased this for my kitchen nook after reading the glowing reviews. What a disappointment. It looked really cheap and the shade was discolored, stained, or just irregular. It had large markings all over it that were pronounced when lit, but invisible when the light was off. I really don't like the acrylic base plate. I returned this light and will go ahead and spend a little more money to get a nice fixture. Too bad.

The light is lovely, however it came in damaged. I'm still waiting to see if someone will pay for my having an electrician come back out to my home to re-install it. I hope O.com will. I don't think it's O.Com's fault it came in damaged, but the manufacturer should have caught this damage. I love this light and am really hoping I don't have to return both chandeliers. Will gladly follow up.

This pendant looks amazing. I didn't want to spend a lot for a rental unit and this fit the bill! I wants crazy about the black hardware and thought about painting it brushed nickel or white. Turns out that the black works well with my space. I would recommend this to anyone who is on a budget!

I ordered the 4-light pendant fixture for my dining room, and it arrived well packaged in a week. With the help of a friend it was easy to install in under an hour. We hard wired it where my old ceiling light had been . All the necessary hardware is included, as is an opaque diffuser that inserts into the bottom of the shade. It will use up to 4 bulbs of up to 100 watts each; I put 4 - 40 watt bulbs in mine - on a wall mounted dimmer switch - and I love the soft but bright light it gives! With higher wattage bulbs, this would give off a lot of light. The look and proportions are perfect for over a dining room or conference table & with the included metal cord covers you can adjust the drop length from the ceiling. I've looked at drum pendants for almost a year and am very happy with my choice. The shade is a true white, slightly textured, and the cord and bottom finial are black metal. Well made & a great look!
