diffuser and shade are notably different colors
This is a pretty pendant. But the cloth part of the shade is an unpleasant yellowed ivory, and the diffuser is bright white; they clash. It's not subtle, either. If the pendant looked like the misleading photo shown by Overstock, I'd be happy, but it doesn't. So I am either going to have to find a new diffuser or try to bleach out the cloth shade -- which fits very tightly into the patterned metal housing, so not an easy DIY. Was hoping to have a finished product, rather than yet another home-improvement project, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Functionally Fresh!
I ordered this lighting fixture for our kitchen, probably not the first place you would think of putting it based on its style. We installed it over an island and it really looks great! Everybody who sees our newly updated kitchen comments on the light before mentioning any of the other numerous, and very expensive, updates. It was relatively easy to put together and install, and it had steel rods of various lengths included so I could adjust the height over the island. I'm very satisfied with the purchase and the product!

Very Nice
Before I purchased my fixture I read many reviews and it is true that in the picture the bottom panel is a bright white but the inlay is an off white bordering a mild yellow. I knew this and didn't really mind, because I have a lot of those tones in the room so it didn't matter. Overall it's a nice classy looking fixture, and I really enjoy it.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The inlay appears to be white but it's not, it's kinda yellow. Nothing alarming, the rest is true to color.

Good purchase
This is a good looking light that works well with my decor. I have it hung high, however, in a place where you see a lot of the bottom, and I wish the color of the bottom was closer to the color of the shade.

modern chandelier
We love this chandelier! It was relatively easy to install once we figured out how to thread wires up through metal rods that suspend the chandelier. We used a thin coat hanger and duck tape to thread it through as the wires were too soft and would not advance the whole length of the rod. Other than that, it was easy. Highly recommend for the price.
