I was a disappointed due to the small size and it being classified as a foyer lighting. Maybe I misunderstood. It is too small for a dining area as well. not for a house. maybe an apartment.

Compared to some very expensive alternatives out there, this light fixture measured up well. A good compromise piece for projects where something noticably above building grade is needed. Handsome shape and finish.

fantastic lighting
This is a beautiful lantern, better than I dreamed it would be! We are pleased with it over kitchen island, looks great with stainless.

Love These Lights
I love these lights and cannot wait to install them in my kitchen. Originally, I purchased two, larger black finished lanterns. My husband did not like those at all, so I searched for something smaller and came accross these. I'm so glad I did. These lanterns will look fantastic over our new kitchen island! The quality is pretty good, except some of the lights in the center are slightly crooked. This can be GENTLY straightened out. They have a graceful, traditional design that I'm sure will look stylish for years to come.

The light looks very nice. I was concerned that it might not go well with the brushed nickel items that I had ordered for my home due to other reviews, but I think it matches really nicely with the other finishes I have. great light
I had always wanted a light to go over my kitchen table and this is the one. It is perfect. It is elegant without being over the top. It gives out lots of light but doesn't put your eyes out. I like seeing it from outside through the kitchen window. Love this light.
