Impressions Dakota Area Rug (7'9 x 11')

I don't normally write reviews (unless I'm really impressed). This rug obviously impressed me. We just recd a new living room suite and our old and tired rug just had to be replaced. I prefer traditional decor with "subtle" southwest accents, which is difficult to find. We knew we were taking a risk in ordering this rug, but we agreed on the pattern and color, so we bit the bullet. The rug arrived 5 days later. We immediately unrolled it to observe our bargain (similar rugs locally can't be purchased for less than $$$, with limited design choices available). We were totally shocked at this rug's beauty and feel our money was well spent. We only have one complaint - the odor of this rug was awful! It could have been from the record heat we experienced this weekend and the rug sitting in a closed truck, but it smelled strongly like Elmer's glue. We took the rug outside to our patio and laid it flat (in the sun) for 4 hours. The rug was now relaxed enough to not curl on the ends and didn't smell any more. That was 2 days ago and it still looks great and doesn't smell either. We are truly enjoying this rug! NOTE -- from our computer monitor, these colors are very true. The red is brick red and the blue is dark navy blue, so don't anticipate something different.
