First, the pillowcases I received had different embroidery than pictured, so they don't exactly match my sheets, but are still very attractive. The fabric is more crisp than soft and silky. The embroidery is on only one side of the case, with a pocket to hold the pillow on the other side. Personally, I'd prefer embroudery all the way around, but some might really like the pocket.
These pillow cases are pretty, but they don't feel as silky as I would expect from a 400 count pillow case. It was very difficult to iron out the wrinkles.
