    About Brazilian cherry:
    • Sometimes called Jatob or Guapinol, the tree is common to the Caribbean, Central and South America
    • Used for furniture and flooring
    • Not botanically related to North American black cherry, a common hardwood
    • Produces an orange, resinous, sticky gum that converts to amber if left alone for a few million years
    • Features a tan/salmon color with black accent stripes that, over time, turns to a deep, rich, red color
    • Lightly sand the wood surface before applying a finish so that you can perfectly match the finish of your flooring to your interior design colors
