I really loved the look of this rug online. However, I think it looks a little cheap in person. See above for my description of quality. This rug absolutely does not feel like wool. It smells like the polyester rugs you find (and are overwhelmed by) in rug barn type of stores. It's also very thin. In a way it reminds me of an indoor/outdoor carpet. I know it sounds like I despise it - I don't. I love the concept and the colors. I do think that the following factors cheapen it's overall appearance: 1) the pink hue is a bit more shocking in real life; 2) the material is scratchy and odorous like polyester; 3) the rug is thin, giving it the appearance of a lanai or back porch rug. If it were thick, softer, and slightly more subtle in coloring on the warm end, it would be a 5 star product. As it is, it seems more like sophisticated college dorm material. Will I keep it? Maybe! Perhaps if I put a thicker pad underneath it I will be happier. I do love the overall look and I think it looks fun in my apt - I just wish the quality was kicked up 5 notches.Read More
