it isn't rugged enough to take camping -- seems way to easy to break. I have to treat it with kid-gloves... also if you buy more than one, they don't tell you but you need the extra plug to join them together. You will also need more than one of these to get any power out of it... one is not powerful enough to charge your battery up to the amount that you had used the night before.

Battery drain due to on-board electronics is a real problem with new cars. My brand new truck will have a dead battery in 3 days in the winter if not recharged. This product allows me to start my truck after leaving it unattended at the airport for over a week, in the dead of a northern mid-west winter.
