The "nailheads" are actually a trim where each individual "nail" is connected with metal between which cheapens the look. The color and fabric are nice, as is the size, but unfortunately the construction is defective. If you were to put the chair together as instructed, some of the screws would stick out of the side of the chair and eventually poke straight through the fabric. I don't see how this could be put together as designed and function. Thankfully Overstock accepted the return with no issue.
I loved the look and color of these chairs but the quality is very, very poor. The nailheads are actually a nail trim and look very CHEAP. There is a visible seam on the seat that looks horrible. The worst thing is that the back of the chair is not properly filled and it caves in when you sit and lean back. I was very disappointed to have to return them since I really loved the material and color. I recently ordered 4 other chairs by the same company and they were beautiful and well made. Overstock customer service was awesome and very helpful in facilitating the return.
In the process of updating my dining room furniture. I purchased a beautiful cherry wood table several years ago, but the side chairs were dull and outdated. I was looking for something dramatic to bring out the beauty of the table. These chairs was not as dramatic as I would have liked, but they do update the look of the room. I loved the chairs so much that I have recently purchased another set and believe this will create the drama in my dinning room that I'm looking for.
