This is an idea solution to put where the plumbing is run. If something should need repaired (leaky pipe, replace faucets, etc.) instead fo cutting through the sheet rock, just pop out the cabinet and the pipes and plumbing are exposed and ready for repairs!

I love this product. I have Hy-dits in all of my bathrooms. I believe there is plenty of storage room, not to mention it comes with the plunger and brush. I even put my extra toilet paper rolls on the plunger handle to hide them. The design is perfect to fit between the framing. My girls are often "clogging" the toilets and the Hy-dits have saved us many times!I would definitely recommend this product!

The inside is too small for supplies, plugger etc.

I remodeled my bathroom and fortunately ran across this unique item on Overstock. Why should I spend thousands of dollars remodeling a bathroom, only to have the plug-ugly plunger and toilet brush propped up behind the toilet for all to see? Yuck! I had my contractors install this little Hy-dit closet near the floor behind the bathroom door, and it's PERFECT for storing the plunger and toilet brush (which come with it). The main thing that's a little chintzy is the glued-on plastic hook to hang the toilet brush on, but that is a minor thing. It does the job, and it doesn't have to be entered in the county fair, right? What a great idea this Hy-dit closet is. I really recommend it!

We recived this just in the nick of time while we were remodeling. We got it in with no problem the only thing I'm not happy about is where it hinges it sticks out a little not flush with the other side. But it still saves space and has all that stuff out of sight. I don't know if anyone will notice it anyway ,everyone will be looking at the sink and faucet that are so cool that we also got from overstock. I love shopping here

We are remodeling our bathroom. One thing I loathe is having a plunger on the floor next to the toilet, and or a toilet brush. Usually the brush goes under the cabinet, so it drips everywhere. Not very sanitary. This will be placed next to the toilet in the wall, hiding everything that needs to be. Drips for a couple inches only. So this I feel is going to work out fabulous. At least I have hopes. It looks great. It arrived in a timely fashion. Although we have not yet installed it, I'm sure it will do the job as expected.

We got this because it was teh perfect solution for a very small bathroom. Our contractor build the space for it and we put it in and tiled around it. The door hinge was a little tricky but that may have been due to a too-close tiling job. Some of the paint around the hinge came off so I have some concerns about rusting. Overall it is a wonderful idea and I would buy it again!

I¿m a contractor from Chicago, and installed the hy-dit in a spec. home that is currently on the market. What amazes me is the overwhelming response from my realtor as far as positive feedback from potential customers that have visited the home. I will most certainly include hy-dit¿s in all of my future homes.

Our home is 7 yrs old with 3 bathrooms and we now have the Hy-dit installed in each one. I simply love the fact that the disgusting toilet plugger is out of site but still close by (not out in the garage) for when you need it! No more unattractive milk jugs, ice cream buckets, etc in the corner of the bathroom holding the plugger! I also like the convenience of being able to store the toilet brush and cleaner in the Hy-dit as well. I think the Hy-dit is a great product, reasonably priced and my husband said it was easy to install! We are very pleased with the Hy-dit!

This is a great way to hide your toilet necessities! I bought one for each bathroom in my house, my handyman installed them without much difficulty, didn't seem to take him very long. The door is metal, and a little thinner than I would like, care needs to be taken that it doesn't get bent. I have been using these for 9 months now and would buy them again!

U cannot believe the convience, I want one in each bathroom. Such a nice way to hide yucky stuff!

I really like the idea of hiding a brush/plunger in the wall and found this kit to effectively do just that. Out of the box, it's really not much more attractive than having a nice plunger/brush set tucked behind the toilet though. The handle is a hideous cheap plastic thing and the door probably needs to be painted to match your trim.I ended up replacing the plastic handle with an attractive cabinet knob and may paint the door as well. I haven't decided if the door should match the wall color or trim color. Also, you can purchase a wooden upgrade door directly from the manufacturer which may look quite a bit nicer in the end.Overall the assembly was very easy. They include a paper trace pattern so once you find the stud w/ a stud finder, you just tape the paper to the wall and cut around it with a dry-wall saw. I think I had it installed in about 25 mins.

This is a terrific opportunity to get the toilet brush and plunger off the bathroom floor. Even the cleaner fits within. However I will admit the plunger is really squished in the cabinet. No way to avoid that, when you consider the cabinet fits within a standard 2x4 wall recess. Note, after using, you'll have to allow the articles to dry before storing inside.I gave it only 4-stars because the plain metal door gives it a utilitarian appearance, the plunger is squished, and there is no well to catch water drips.

I have always been frustrated by the lack of products that conceal the toilet plunger until I stumbled upon the Hy-Dit. Since I installed a Hy-Dit in each of my bathrooms the toilet plunger is out of sight and out of mind. In the event that I do need the plunger it is always easily accessible. Thanks for a great product, this is a must have for every bathroom!!!

I have not yet installed the closet, but I love the idea that the plunger and brush will be hidden from view.

I recenlty remodeled my bathroom and while looking for in wall space cabinets - i found this item. My contractor painted it to match the wall color in the bathroom and it looks terrific. Not only can i put away the cleaning tools and hide them - but it really looks good. It is built very well and sturdy. It is also easy to install.

We purchase this for our new home. This is a neat and clean way to store toiletry items.
