Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. Many people have commented on the doors so I was well aware there might be difficulty in assembling it. The assembly went smoothly, I did it by myself and had it put together in less than 2 hours (I'm slow and careful). When it comes to the doors I have a bit of advice: there are two brackets on each door, each bracket has three screws to hold it to the cabinet. There are three 'indentations' on the inside of the cabinet where you are supposed to put the screws into... this is where you need to be careful. Don't trust the indentations. Here is what I did - I put one screw in the indentation for the top bracket and one on the bottom - then close the door... now you can decide, does the door need to go up or down? or is it ok... You can then loosen the screws and make the adjustments. If you screw all the screws in and then close the doors to find it doesn't fit, you won't have much leeway to fix it as you have already made holes in the cabinet making it more difficult to make slight adjustments... and it usually only needs slight adjustments.Finally, I was disappointed in the 'cardboardy' back pieces to the cabinet. However, you can't see them when it is pushed up against to wall, so perhaps I'm just being picky given the price point.

Wwere looking for an entertainment center with doors to keep our nine month old twins from pressing buttons on our electronics. This was perfect!! Easy enough to assemble, made of asctual wood, and much nicer than the more expensive (yet pressboard) pieces we saw while shopping around. HIGHLY recommend!!!

My husband and I have a 10 month old and needed to get all of our TV equipment behind doors. The glass doors allow us to hide the cable box but the remote still works. The cross pattern nicely hides what is inside the doors. The color worked well with our decor and the size is great. We are able to fit an xBox 360, cable box, DVD player, routers, and baskets of DVDs inside. We have a 47" flat screen on top which just barely hangs over the sides. Our son was still able to pull the doors open because they stay closed with small magnets but we installed plastic baby-proof hooks, which can't be seen, and seem to do the job of keeping him out of the cabinet. The box was very heavy when it was delivered and I had to carry each piece upstairs separately though. I found it very easy to put together and did it all by myself in about 30 minutes. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase and found Overstock had the best price of this unit.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Went together easily and fast. The reason for 4 stars is, as previously notes, the doors can sometimes not line up perfectly. I just put a little shim under mine, you can't see it so works for me. One tip: We put our DVR on the top shelve. If you do, be sure the shelf is the right height (they're adjustable) or you won't be able to see the LED on the front..hahaha I have to lower my shelf one notch.

A beautiful piece of furniture. A little difficult to put together, but great instructions. I would recommend to anyone.

I was needing a corner TV cabinet that had doors but had glass so you could use the remote with the doors closed. The slats on the front are in front of the glass but you can still easily use the remotes. THere is plenty of room for satellite receiver, dvd player, surround sound receiver, and xbox. It was fairly easy to assemble too!

Beautiful piece of furniture, solid wood construction. No more difficult to assemble than any other DIY furniture, just carefully follow the instructions and give yourself plenty of time. A couple of gotchas: Even with the door hinges already installed, the doors are obviously misaligned (the left door hits the top and the right door hits the bottom). I plan on rehanging the hinges to make the doors even. I'll probably re-drill the door knob holes so that they line up evenly. The access hole in the back panel is small and up high. I had to cut mine larger to suit my system wiring. No problem as it doesnt' show. This may be picky, but the varnish fumes from the unit are quite strong. I'd recommend making sure you have plenty of ventilation during assembly and for the first few days afterwards.

This TV stand was perfect for our new flat 46" TV which just fits on it nicely. The part about the unit that I really liked was that this unit is made to fit equally well on a flat wall or in a corner. We have several spots for the TV in our family room and this way we're not locked into using it in just one spot. The assembly wasn't too bad and it looks even nicer in our room than I expected. A good value and nice "look" and features.

This is a great piece of furniture that was easy to assemble. It is great for toddlers: the knobs are close together so a rubber band will hold it closed, and if your kid is like most and accidentally falls into the door, there is a wood lattice that protects them from breaking the glass (even if they did break the glass, the lattice would protect the child from pieces of broken glass). Remotes work fine. And no matter what you put in it, it still looks nice because the lattice masks the contents (i.e. you won't have a bunch of videos and games injecting random colors into your decor, if that kin of thing maters to you).

Great looking. Only problem was doors don't line up exactly but you have to look closely to see that. Can be remedied with a shim. Parts were packed well. I wish shelves were deeper but with it being a corner unit they are narrower at back.

I am very please with this purchase. Didn't take long to put together and looks beautiful.

We are very happy with the looks and quality of the unit. The only possible negative is with the gridwork on windows, you have to position equipment inside so the remote sensor is not blocked buy grid. This is not a big deal and can be easliy done

This piece has worked out very well for me. I put it together myself and only experienced two minor issues: 1) one of the cam locks broke and i had to replace it with one from the hardware store - but this could be a combination of cheap(er) materials and my own inexperience with this type of hardware 2) the doors do not align - very noticeable. I plan to have a friend (much handier than myself) adjust them. All that being said, I think this piece is worth it. It's nice looking, not too big, works against a flat wall or in a corner, and wasn't too expensive. I hate shopping for this type of furniture, so I am very glad this one worked out.

I purchased this as a gift for my in-laws when they redecorated the livingroom/dining room. She wanted something to match her china cabinet and fit into a small space. After shopping all around town, I found this on O.co. It was a perfect match! My daughter was able to put this together in about 2 hours with some assistance from me. It is not the first time she assembled furniture, but she is still a relative novice at it. She had no problem at all and I just help by holding it still or holding up an end as she put pegs into holes. We has a broken center foot piece but it was easily repaired. I was happy not to have to reschedule the installation to wait for a replacement part. The doors went on easily with pre-installed hinges. Nothing about this was difficult and the finish looks fine. I don't yet know how it will hold up, but it will get minimal wear and tear in this household so should be OK.

We ordered this media cabinet because out 16 month old kept turning our electronics on and off. We absolutely love it! It's hard to find a nice corner media cabinet that's not cheap plywood. This unit has solid wood and is well laid out. It's true that the doors don't completely match up, but if you unscrew the top hinge a bit (make it a little loose) the doors even out pretty well.

Good value for the price. If your looking for a show piece then I would spend a little more and purchase exactly what you want but if your looking for a simple solid functional product at a very good price...then go for it.

This is a good looking, sturdy piece if furniture. There is plenty of storage space for equipment - I have a cable box, DVD player, Blue Ray player and a VCR on the shelves with room left for DVD's, too ! My only tiny issue is that I have to keep the doors open when we use the TV or the remotes won't work. I would still recommend this product.
