I bought this fan for my new baby's room. I debated between this and a ceiling fan. I'm glad we chose the oscillating fan for the room. This fan is whisper quite on low, but it is so powerful that on medium and high you don't hear the fan itself but the large amount of air it pushes. Being this is my second child I know she will acustom herself to the white nosie of the fan being on. The quality is outstanding and so is the brand itself. Great construction and would be good even in a larger sized room other than a bedroom.
