This ceiling fan was purchased as a replacement for a 14 year old Craftmade ceiling fan that was installed by the builder. After 14 years the Craftmade started making a rubbing noise in the motor. Since it was in the Master bedroom any noise is unacceptable. This Hunter fan was selected because of style and brand name. However, after being operational for less than a month this fan started making a clicking noise louder than the Craftmade. I will return this product.
