    • Airplane fan by Hunter

      We got our fan today. It is no doubt a great quality fan, but we will need to return it. I did not realize that the wing-span of the plane is nearly 8 feet across, too large for the room intended. It is so important to understand the product to prevent returns.

    • It's cute...but....

      This is really cute.. HOwever I didn't realize the actual "plane" part is really this heavy cardboard that you have to affix to the ceiling. I thought it was attached to the fan or just a different material. I wound up putting up the fan without the airplane appliques so it just looks like a propeller. The colors are cute. No light kit is another negative but I guess that would interfere with the look. Also, this is only 3 blades so maybe better for a smaller room.

    • Beautiful fan, but ....

      This is a beautiful fan. My children enjoyed it, but the assembly instructions could be written more clearly. It would have been helpful if the parts were numbered/labeled. For example, it stated "using four screws" but there were several packages of screws, including some with extra screws, which made it even more difficult to guess. Eventually, the screws were found to be attached to the casing of the fan. Also, when assembling the blade to the fan, the screws had a square shape near the end, while the blade had a circular hole, making fitting them challenging. The instruction should've said to tap the square scew in the round hole, as the wood was fairly soft. It took my father-in-law and I way longer than we had expected. However, once installed it works beautifully! Last of all, remember, that like the product description stated, this fan has no lights. Despite the above comments, I still think it is an excellent choice, and would buy it again.

      I was very happy with the ceiling fan I bought. The time we received it in was great and it was what I have been looking for . It was my first time buying on overstock.com and would order again.

    • Glad I found this again!

      We put this on our son' s bedroom and can I say wow, he really enjoyed it. We got so many compliments, and the ease of assembly was a plus. He eventually outgrew it, and took it down, and now low and behold, I have found it again for my little toddler. This is definately one of the neatest attractions we have ever placed in our home. :)

    • Eye catching

      Looks great, but not the best of fans. If you are looking for a high functioning fan, this is not it, but it looks great in my son's room and does work well. Everyone that has seen this fan so far has loved it. It changes the whole room and makes it a lot more playful. I just wish it had more speed options. Also, I've had this fan now for over two years, and just noticed some of the glue unsticking and we will need to retouch it. Originally I thought the whole things was a fan, but only the middle is the fan (the actual blades), and the rest are sticking foam like pieces that stick to the ceiling. I would still go with this fan, it looks wonderful.

    • our son loves it

      We saw this fan in the special order catalogue at our local big chain home improvement store and our son talked about it for a couple of months. I was happy to find it on Overstock for about $30 less, plus no sales tax. Our electrician installed it so I can't really speak to the difficulty--it did take a while but I think that was mostly just getting it lined up correctly. It runs quietly, which is nice.
