Very high-quality fan from Hunter. Received just 3 days after ordering. Quiet operation, moves a TON of air. Relatively easy to install -- a couple of screws were missing from the package. Note that the body of this fan is rather bulky (due to the fact that the blades are mounted in the middle of the body). Still a sharp-looking fan, but I recommend using it only in a big room.

We have been putting up ceiling fans for over twenty five years. We have always loved Hunter brands. This is the most difficult fan we have ever dealt with. It is pretty and it works well but we have decided after this experience to never buy another Hunter because this one has absolutely turned us against their workmanship and products. The space between the top housing and the motor housing was not even and although it doesn't wobble it does look funny going around. So we try not to look at it. We would not advise anyone to buy this particular fan. We wouldn't even put up another one if it were given to us free.

Wow! We're very impressed with the quality of this fan! At first it was intimidating looking at all the parts, but it went like clockwork - not a glitch at all. My husband had no problem with the instructions or the parts and commented that this fan is very good quality! His only slight trouble was matching up the right screws with the right step, as the screws' sizes weren't marked on each bag. The fan is in our large family room and it's absolutely silent. No wobble, no problems at all. We love it!

We purchased this fan for our bedroom. It shipped quickly and was well packed. My electrician installed it without difficulties (except for the challenges our house presented, nothing from the fan). It came with two blade color choices - the light birch color in the picture, and a dark mahogany. It is a silent fan except for a slight hum which is not bothersome at all (more or less, you just know the fan is on). I hesitated initially to purchase it, mainly based on the price, but decided I wanted a high quality fan and Hunter was recommended to me. Like other fans, it can be reversed - clockwise and counterclockwise. My husband has especially enjoyed the fan because it pushes a lot of air around and cools the room off quickly.

Product came quickly and looks just as it does in the picture. Easy to assemble but think it could have been a little less expensive.

It arrived within 5 days.When I opened the box...beautiful chrome finish,two different finish blades and expensive overall looks made me happy. Of course, I needed to hire an electrician, job was done within an hour...so quiet I can't even hear fan is on! Thank you "Overstock"

This is the fourth one I have purchased in the last year. Great fan, great look.

We found this fan quite difficult to install for two novices. But, we were installing it in a room with a 20 foot vaulted ceiling. Unfortunately, our fan did not come with a content list, and some screws were the wrong size, making it difficult to install the canopy. It is a good idea to make sure all of the screws fit the fan before installation begins. Once installed, this fan is beautiful and extremely effective. We can't imagine not having it in the room now. We really enjoy it!

I would rate the fan a full five stars except that the install is very difficult.

This is probably the best fan I have ever bought. It is quiet and wobble free. You do not know that it is running. However, that comes at a price. To install, you must mount it directly to a piece of wood in the ceiling. If your box is not in the right place, it requires putting in some structure to fasten to. I was not expecting this and had quite a time. Luckily there is an attic above my installation point and I was able to go up there and make the required changes. So unless you have some skills, don't plan to install this yourself.

I purchased 7 of these fans for our home in 2001. All seven still work! This is a good quality fan at a moderate price. Is this unit as good as a high-end fan costing $500 or more? No. But, for the $**** I paid the combination of price and quality was too good to pass up. Most of my fans have a wobble on high, but who runs a fan on high??? I am very sensitive to the electric him some fans give off--this fan does not have a hum.

The fan is lovely once installed; however, the installation instructions are poorly written. Whatever money we may have saved on this fan was compensated for during a long and tedious installation process.

These are very classy looking fans. For such a powerful motor, I would have expected an extension rod for high ceilings. They are easy to get, though. Still have not installed them so I can't speak toward the Ease Of Assembly very well. Excited to get them in.

Hunter fans are great fans. I have yet to hang the fan but the fan arrived in good condition. Overstock was able to give me a good price on a quality product.

This is in myopinion a beautifuly simple and classy design.I bought 2 fans and after theywere installed wished I had bought another.However, I woudldn't say they would be easy for novices to install. They are well worth the time and money.Quiet as a mouse and very powerful.
