I was looking for a ceiling fan to harmonize with my dark wood [ cherry / mahogony furniture.] The fan blades blended perfectly. The amber bronze metal housing on the motor and blades is a nice satin finish,This bronze has a more antique copper hue warmer than an oil rub bronze which is browner. It works well with brass or pewter lighting fixtures that may be in the room. Fan is very quiet and moves air effortlessly. The fan only comes with a 4" downshaft rod and we have angled ceilings so we did have to purchase a 9" size at a local lighting shop. We could not find the amber bronze color but were able to get a close substitute. There is no remote so it is good if you have a wall control switch. This Hunter Fan is a great value!

Arrived quickly even though it was Christmas season. Was not damaged, everything was in the box, it was easily installed, blades and housing are beautiful mahogany and bronze. It is super quiet. I will probably buy more.
