Hunter 31004 Ultrasonic
Living in a cold climate the ease of the Hunter 31004 Ultrasonic for use at night is great. Runs 10-12 hours on one filling of water. NO FILTERS which is great. Greeat size for bedside table. Recommended to my family members.

Small Room Humidifier
This is a great small humidifier. It's very quiet while getting the job done. I love the fact that it doesn't need a filter. The knob that turns the humidifier on has different positions to adjust the moisture needed for your room. Cleaning it weekly is no big deal. I'm very happy with this product.

Hotel Living
I travel weekly, and spend weeks in hotels with very dry air. This machine is on every night while I am in the hotel. When I wake up in the morning, no more dry nose and I can breathe! I am very pleased with this product.

Good things come in small packages
I bought this item because it was advertised as being ideal for small rooms - and it is! I especially like the fact that it is easy to refill due to its small size - fits in one hand due to the 'pear shape'. It runs for up to 22 hours depending on how high the dial is adjusted. My family has remarked on the difference in humidity - the environment is much more comfortable.

Good value
PROS: This is compact, silent, does not leave a puddle of water/condensation around the unit. No leaking was noted. This is clearly meant only for small rooms. Don't expect the level of humidity to noticeably change but my main gauge of effectivity was that I didn't wake up the next morning with dried out nasal passages. CONS: Because this is a small unit, you get only slightly more than a full day's worth of continuous operation before you have to refill the tank. That's ok with me since I only run it overnight. The next morning, I empty out the tank and wipe the base dry. This may seem tedious for some but with this procedure, I didn't feel the need to use a weekly vinegar wash prescribed for maintenance.

Perfect for a nursery
Perfect size for my son's nursery! Smaller in size than I imagined, but has plenty of moisture output. Water lasts as described- about 18 hrs. Perfect for nap time and bedtime, then fill in the a.m. I didn't use the packets of powder included with the humidifier, as suggested in some of the reviews. It did take a good 30 seconds to kick in when I first turned it on. I was afraid it was defective, but no, it simply took a second to register the water..

Dry air, dry nose, dry throat problems solved!
I needed this humidifier for my son's room since he had been getting nose bleeds due to dryness. We set up the humidifier and he hasn't had a problem since. The unit is compact, efficient and runs quietly. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this product again or recommend it to my friends.

Hunter 31004 Ultrasonic Humidifier
The humidifier works exactly as described; however, there is one problem.The booklet states that the light will go on when the unit needs water. It should be changed to read, the light goes on when the unit is in use and turns to red when the unit needs water.

Good product and price--but one suggestion
We purchased this for our bedroom at night. The unit works well and is very quiet except for the sound of water dripping inside at times. Not enough to bother us or keep us awake. We did run into one problem: this unit is shipped with 4 tablets to condition the water and I guess help keep it clean. 1 tablet is suppose to be good for a week. The 1st time we used the tablet, we got up the next morning and the complete house looked like it was foggy inside. I thought we turned up the vaporizer too high but we never set it more than half way. My wife went into the kitchen and noticed the counter top was coated with a fine white powder. We also have a black tower type electrostatic air cleaner. It was completely white also covered inside and out with this fine white powder. It was from the tablet we had put inside the water tank. If you purchase this unit, do not use those 4 tablets it comes with. Clean and rinse the unit with white vinegar instead. Just a suggestion.
