It's been a long time since I've had an air purifier in my home. With the new baby on the way (she's here now), I elected to get this Hunter air purifier. It has made more of a difference than I thought it would! I set it to the "low" setting with the ionizer on. Within a day the air in my entire home was noticeably fresher, even with our two dogs. Our new baby seems to be very happy with the air too! I should mention that this air purifier was about half the cost of other 17x19 room air purifiers that I researched. Thanks for the great deal Overstock.com!

This was a gift to my daughter, who lives in No. Carolina. She had complained about a musty smell in her apartment. She happy with no smells now.

I got my Hepatech Air Purifier 30251 on 12/29/08, I love it so much because it help remove tabaco smoke, allergens, and other dirty things around the air in my home. The product is not that big at all it fit perfectly in my bedroom.THANK YOU, OVERSTOCK.COM.

Did a lot of research before buying this purifier. Although it's not as good thorough at removing all of the dust etc., as some of the more expensive ones, you can't beat it for the price. It runs quiet and makes the room smell good. Time will tell about durability, I've only had it for a month.

The need for this uniit was a mixture of health and housekeeping. I find the unit keeps the air fresher, cooler and cleaner. It is a little big even for a large bedroom. It is also a litlle noisy at top speed but we adjust this up when we leave the room and down when we return

I bought this product for my Grandmother's christmas present and it works great. She is a heavy smoker and this filter will maintain her frontroom/kitchen area such that the remainder of the family can enjoy her company without her smoke.

Solid looking. Quiet when it's on low. We only turn it on high when we are out of the room because of the fan noise, but its quiet enough to sleep in the same room with it when it's on low. The air seems fresher in the rooms where we have these, in the bedroom and the living room. It's a great deal for the price but filters are relatively expensive, so shop around for those. Would have given this 5 stars for value and overall if the filters were the permanent kind.

This is the fourth Hunter air purifier that I have ordered. Each has met and exceeded expectations. The only drawback is the cost of replacement filters.

great choice for the price. i have bought a few different models and brands. for the price this does it all. quiet at low speeds, clears air from heavy smokers so that non smokers do not complain. filters are pricey but that is true for almost all models.

Hunter Hepatech was recommended by our allergist. Reasonable price although filters could get expensive depending on replacement frequency - not yet known in our house. This unit has a high capacity so it can be run on low even in a medium-large room, which is good because it is noisy on medium or high speed. We replaced an older Bionaire and it definitely moves a lot more air.

The unit is very well constructed and has a very nice appearance. The unit is also very quiet at LOW or MEDIUM speeds. There is a significant difference in the air quality in the rooms the unit is utilized. Ther is only one drawback I can see: The price of replacing the filters is quite expensive. I have many HUNTER appliances in my house and I have always been quite happy with thier durability and longevity.

So far I am very happy with this air purifier. It is light weight enough to move around without a lot of effort. It works quite efficiently. It makes a steady humming sound, but it is only "loud" when on high and even then I don't find it annoying or disturbing. I like the "white noise" anyway !! It helps me sleep more soundly! I also think the price is right.

I bought this air purifier primarily for my roommate because she has bad asthma. She is extremely sensitive to any types of fumes, odors, etc. The first time I turned on the air purifier, it threw her into a bad coughing attack. She complains that this air purifier puts out an odor of it's own and, therefore, doesn't like for it to be on when she is at home. Actually, since she pointed it out to me, I noticed it too. I thought the smell would go away after being used a few times (while she wasn't home) but it didn't. So it would seem that it was a waste of money. Sorry but that's the truth.
