Hunter 30124 Hepatech Air Purifier

I am an asthmatic(and very reactive to pollutants). I love this air purifier and now have 3 of them in my apartment. I thoroughly researched air purifiers before first buying this one a few years ago. I live above a chain smoker. Compared to other ones, and ones I had bought over the past 30 years, this make and model seems to be the highest for CADR for smoke removal, a scientific method for measuring and comparing ability to remove smoke. You do , however, have to put it up to a level 2 or 3 for worst smoke situations, but it clears it out quickly and then you can return to level 1 for sleeptime(very quiet at levels 1 and 2). It does a great job, also, removing pollen, dust, and any other particles from the air, and the optional use of the ionizer drops the particles from the air to where the purifier or your dusting can capture them before you breathe them in. This purifier doesn't emit ozone which is dangerous for asthmatics. My only problem is the cost of the white hepa filters which get dirty so quickly(don't last as long if you live over a smoker). The second filter, the charcoal one, lasts longer, but costs for both are kind of high. I hope Overstock can find a way to get both for low prices, or in bulk, for us. Nevertheless, this product is the best. I will probably buy another one for another room. And, it doesn't use that much electricity to run, and I run them 24/7.
