This Hummel Boy's Best Friend figurine depicts a young boy holding a puppy. It was released in 2000 and modeled by master sculptor Helmut Fischer. The piece has an incised 1999 copyright date along with the TM 8 trademark and a 'First Issue 2001' backstamp.
This handcrafted Hummel figurine comes direct from the world's only authorized producer of Hummel designs. Every piece is back-stamped by Goebel and carries the M.I. Hummel signature.

My mother loved adding this to her collection. Please note that the Milkbone dog treat (biscuit) is not part of the Hummel Figurine, as displayed in the picture. I was disappointed to find this out after she had opened the box, as all the pictures on OS display this dog treat.
