Nice look, but this is kind of a piece of sh*t.
I can't even begin to say how hard this product is to put together. It weights 100+ lbs and the pieces are connected only by wooden pegs. You must first assemble the inner shelves and than add the outer pieces. Even when you can get two pieces to actually connect (I used a hammer & my entire body weight and still didn't get a secure fit)... they don't stay together while trying to add on the sides. The brackets that are supposed to secure the top/bottom easily bent and broke under the weight of this piece. The top piece has laminate that is coming off too! Best of luck... if it weren't so damn heavy... I'd send it back.

Horrible Construction
This console could be beautiful but prepare to do a lot of DIY activities to make it fit together correctly. Not what I expected for tihs amounf of money. I consider myself very good at putting things together, everything from bedroom sets, desks, grills, shelves, etc. but this was ridiculous. The instructions are a joke and none of the pieces are labeled. The flimsy dowels that are supposed to hold the shelves together are all mismatched sizes, so not only do the pre drilled holes not line up, there are not the correct sizes of each needed. Basically, you use the dowels to attempt to hold the pieces together like a big puzzle then there are 8 small metal brackets to screw into the outer edges to hold it all together. the center shelves are really held in by the flimsy dowels and however much pressure you can put on the outer frame with an allen wrench. We are still struggling to work through the various gaps between all pieces. We would have shipped it back after the first several attempts but as a note if you are still thinking about ordering this, this unit is extremely heavy. It was over 130lbs, so to ship back would have been quite a dent in the price and I simply refuse to lose that much money over this item. We will be going to the harware store for some sturdier dowels and brackets to put this unit together and just keep it. I agree with the other user, it is very attractive and after a few more hours of doing what the manufactured failed to do and making it more solidly put together we will have a functional console for our Flat screen. Another quick note, scratches very easily and some of the edges are already showing wear just from where we spent time sliding them on the carpet in our various set-up attempts.

Nice piece but not good quality
I needed a really tall night stand and this piece had perfect dimensions to use as such. It wasn't very intuitive to put together and the directions were horrible. The quality is not that good but for my needs it was ok.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Color is actually a little darker than how it looks online but that was perfect for me.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. This console is not real wood so it was warped in a lot of area and the wood was peeling.

As much as I loved this piece the labor was a nightmare! The holes were not lined up properly or big enough to fit the wooden dowels in them. We just decided to leave some out and it worked out perfectly. The other thing was that the top part of the console on the end was slid open so I had to add wood glue to seal it. I do have to mention that the quality was much better than i expected. Each piece was solid.

This is a unique console table. It is a solid piece of furniture, beautifully designed. It was easy to put together but you will need some help lifting it! It's over 100 pounds. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Nice but difficult assembly
This is a very heavy piece of furniture with a beautiful finish however my husband and I almost threw it out on the curb after hours of trying to assemble it. It should be easy to assemble, however none of the pieces are numbered and the directions are limited. There are so many shelves that have to be perfectly square in order for the pieces to fit together. And there are only small wooden pegs/dowels that don't fit tightly to hold the shelves together in order to get them square. If one slipped, we had to start all over again. It is definitely a two (strong) person job and patience is required. Now that we have had it in our family room for two weeks, the memory of the aggravation has faded and we really love it. We have our flat panel tv on it and the cable box and dvr in the two horizontal spaces. It is the perfect height for eye-level viewing. The back of the piece is particle board so it is easy to cut holes in for cords.

to begin with, when the package arrived it was damaged and when i opened it there was some damage to the veneer on the corner of the top piece. this table is extremely heavy and had inadequate packing protection. also, although the piece looks relatively simple to put together it isnt and is definately a two person job. despite the hassle and aggravation i am very happy with the end result and am glad i purchased it.
