The items were well-packed and undamaged upon arrival. All pieces came with hardware kits and instructions. Chairs take 20 min. each to assemble, the table perhaps 10 min. The table is heavy and requires 2 people to assemble. Wood is lighter than it appears online but it is still attractive. Note: the long screws go in the corners (not in the seat back like the instructions show). I nearly screwed through the wood before I realized they were incorrect. It's a dramatic set and will seat 6 very comfortably. I highly recommend.

The set is even nicer than it appears.We've been looking for a set like this for a few years and were a bit apprehensive about ordering it online. It is beautifully designed, very sturdy and the chairs are very comfortable.My sister-in-law, an experienced interior designer, guessed that we paid $3500 for the set. We didn't want to make her feel bad so we told her she was right. Make sure you have help for assembly because it is very heavy but it is packed quite securely.

This piece took a little while to get delivered, and be careful if you live in an New York City apartment building like I do -- the driver literally just shoved it on the sidewalk and peeled out. But, after the blood sweat and tears of getting it up the stairs, I am simply thrilled with this set. The table has a gorgeous finish and the chairs are both comnfortable and stylish. Very easy to assemble, if heavy -- this is real hard wood and weighs a ton. Only issue was putting together the chairs with the armrests -- a bit tricky, but they look great in the end.

After much searching we decided on this table based on the look, great price , free shipping and great reviews. We are so glad we did, looks perfect in our dining room and can comfortably fit 6 people...could possibly fit 8. It is very heavy so takes 2 people to put together the table and once you figure out the chairs it's a breeze. Would definately recommend!

Just received this set and I was extremely pleased. Workmanship is terrific. Looks very high-end. The top of the table is gorgeous and Overstock should really feature a shot of it here. The chairs are not only beautiful but quite comfortable as well. Everything was very well packed and easy to assemble. I've received nothing but compliments on the set and am looking forward to hosting a dinner party. I highly recommend!

This is a beautiful table. It is very sturdy and made of good quality wood. FYI, the table top is pretty heavy to carry, even for two people. The delivery person and I had to take the table top out of the box and move it separately from the legs and platform to make it easier to carry up the stairs. The chair boxes are easy to carry. Overall the set is pretty easy to assemble just time consuming. There were no parts missing (screws, washers, etc.) from the set. The second page of the table assembly instructions was missing but the complete instructions can be found on-line so it wasn't too big of a issue. We absolutely love the table and are very happy with our purchase.

I love my Hudson 7 piece Mocha diining room set. it's big round solid ash wood and the chairs too. The only draw back was we had to put it together (I did all the chairs myself and my husband came home and helped with the table, fortunately we're both handy people.) but worth the price. Excellent value for price especially getting to use Bill Me Later. Very heavy pieces, six beautiful leather coverd side chairs. perfect for my dining room. I do a lot of entertaining and this is perfect. I love that it's round so everyone can face each other and no one feels far apart from the others. Absolutely love my dining room set and would not hesitate to recommend it. Thank you Overstock.

This table set is versatile. The design is elegant, yet casual. I bought it for my breakfast nook and originally thought it might be too formal. It is perfect! The table and chairs are well constructed and have a very expensive look and feel. Seats are wide, and the leather is soft. The set begs to be used, and is durable and sturdy. I highly recommend this set.

REALLY love the look of this set. Chairs look very nice and the leather is great. Wasn't hard to put together, except a couple of the drilled holes in the chairs and arms didn't line up quite right, we were able to work it out though. Also, we very rarely use the set, but it seems that after just moving the chairs around and sitting them in a handful of times, you have to re-tighten the bolts- the legs get wobbly fast. The workmanship looks nice at first glance, and over all is fine, but there are a few minor flaws, esp. around the edges where you can visibly see where they "seamed" together parts. Still doesn't look bad and you have to look closely. Some staining might cover it up better. Very happy.

We had the set delivered two weeks ago and hired someone to assemble. It took the guy one full day given that there were so many screws. We love the set. It is more sturdy than we expected. The top of the table is lovely and the chairs are truly exquisite.

It was suppose to take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. I got it in about 2 weeks. It was easy to assemble and is absolutely beautiful!! The picture on the web does not do it justice. The markings on the table from the wood are one of a kind and the chairs are very comfortable. I love it!!

The table and chairs are very heavy and are tough to slide on floor. We will need to figure out a way to replace the pads on the bottom with something else so that they won't leave marks on the hardwood floor. I wonder if there is some compressed/particle wood in this item because it is so heavy. The table will require two people to assemble it because of it's weight and dimensions. The chairs were a pain to assemble. My best advice is not to tighten any screws until all pieces, especially the arm pieces are in place. Once put together, it is a very nice looking set. It will sit six people comfortably. It might fit eight if the side chairs were not arm chairs. As another reviewer stated, the color of the wood is a bit lighter than in the picture. The table does have an interesting design that the picture does not show. There were a few blemishes on the pieces, but once put together, they don't really show. Overall, I do like this table,

We purchased this lovely table for our game room. The top is a beautiful piece of wood and the leather on the chairs is a nice detail and very comfortable. The assembly was a bit of a challenge. 4 x different screws, 4 x different washers, etc. It took my husband (pretty handy guy) about 30 minutes per chair to assemble.

I love this set. Looks very expensive and the wood on the top of the table is beautiful. We had a couple of issues that Overstock resolved quickly. The first table was damaged in transit, was replaced and even though the box was mangled the table was in good condition when it arrived. The chairs are a pain in the neck to put together but all worth it in the end.!
