Eureka Optima Lightweight Bagless Upright Vacuum (Refurbished)

I've had this vacuum for about a year now. I purchased it because I wanted a light vacuum that was easy to move around and store. It worked great at first. After a few months things started going wrong. First the brushroll would freeze. I'd unplug it, clean off the roll, and it would work again for a while. Recently, however, the suction has gone intermittent. The brushroll is going strong, but there's no suction! Then the other day the whole thing died... then the handle broke. I give up!

We have hardwood floors in our house. Whoever designed this, angled the exhaust fins in such a way that the rush of air blows everything out of the vacuums way, thus creating a dust storm! Absolutely WORTHLESS!

I just bought a condo and purchased this vacuum because it was compact. I have no storage where I live and needed it to fit in a little closet. It is very compact and fits in little spaces! I just bought new carpet and it's taller than normal. Vacuuming on it is a little tough with the vacuum. It doesn't glide across heavy duty carpet easily, but it works great! I do like it and would recommend it. It sucks great and is small.

This vacuum does a great job on my couch, blinds, area rug and hard floor. It's incredibly powerful for such a small vacuum and I'm quite happy with the attachments. I wish I'd gotten a different color, as I'm not thrilled with the orangy red, but it's a vacuum, not a fashion statement. It works well & that's what matters.
