It works just like the commercials. Though I would love smaller attachments.

Loud. Not Whisper quiet! HEPA part of filter gums up and becomes useless making the outer "vacuumable filter" worthless. Harmonics on this are awful on lowest setting

    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. fair but not usable

I added it to my order to get free shipping. Used it in a van while camping in Florida. It's not over-powering, but it did the job I expected and has a lot of flexiblity in its positioning with a cord of acceptable length. I'm glad the switch is on the back of the fan motor (instead of in-line on the cord). The only required assembly is simply pushing the clip onto the fan. I'd get another.

In the owners manual there is no description of a auto shut-off so I was suspicious when I'd find the unit turned itself off. After about a week of using the product it kept dinging that it was out of water even though it was completely full. It would not function. Overstock sent a replacement within a few days. The replacement has worked well without problem for the past month. I spent alittle extra so I could use this in my office and have been pleased with it's appearance. I tried setting it on the counter but it did not look as good as if you placed it on the floor. It's hard plastic (would have been spectacular in ceramic) but it still is higher quality than what is available in stores. Be careful when you move it'; I have tipped mine twice with the result of having water on the floor. Overall, I am pleased even though I had the hassle of returning the first one without compensation or a discount.

I have enjoyed this Dyson for the two weeks now. There is a big difference from the Eureka vacuum cleaner I had before. Much lighter, less aggressive with the carpet and fantastic suction. It was a refurbished product, which came together with a very competitive price. Packaging was perfect. Also it was nice to receive a letter with the product indicating why the machine had been refurbished. No issues with performance whatsoever.

What is the best stainless steel gauge to buy for a kitchen sink? There is a very large price range. What makes one sink better than another?

    Posted 08/07/11 05:22 PM

Hello, The guage on a stainless steel sink is more preference than anything else. The thicker sinks tend to resist dents and dings better than the thinner sinks. When buying a sink you would want to know that the thickness of the sink gets greater as the number goes down for instance a 14 gauge steel sink would be thinner than a 12 guage sink. I hope this information was useful
