Poor suction. Plastic hose that doesn't work very well.

The vacuum's suction is very good however the brush attachment for smooth floors is not good at all. The bristles are too long and too close together and just push the dirt around. The carpet attachment does not do a good job on the smooth floors either. I do like it being bagless. Easy to empty and NO SMELL. It's a little difficult cleaning out though after each use.

I love this vacuum - great suction and easy to figure out all the attachments. The only thing is that it's kind of heavy in comparison with a stand up vac. But, otherwise, I love it! Great purchase!

Have had this product for a week, pleased to date. Pros: Is reasonably light, easy to assemble, suction is powerful. Cons: Motor gets hot quickly, will have to keep an eye on that

The main thing I noticed about this new vac that was suprising and different from other vacs I've owned is that it's quiet! Suction was very good and clean up both carpet/rugsand hard word/tile floors was very quick.

After owning a Dyson for years I was very disappointed in the suction of this vacuum. I had bought it for my grandmother because it looked light and easier to use than Dyson. It has good features and is light, but inst it about the suction???

Great Price, Great Suction on carpet and hardwood floors. Very easy to clean as everything just snaps in and out. Hard to believe that anyone would not give it 5 stars but i guess that's why they make so many different vacuum cleaners. It may very well be the last one i ever buy

So easy to handle--lightweight-long wand is great for reaching high places. Easy to empty. I love the bagless--no dirt to hang around-no odor. I looked at this vacuum at no less thatn 6 other places. This was far and away the very best value!! I bought one for my daughter and she loves it too. My son also got one!! He loves it too and in his favorite color to boot. I can't say enough for it--especially if you are tired of fighting with big, bulky, heavy vacs. I wouldn't trade it for anything! Grab one while you can!!

the vacuum was delivered in a timely manner. it has great pickup and is easy to handle.

I purchased this Hoover and received much quicker than expected. It was easy to put together, This vacuum picks up well. I like that it's bagless just detach canister, empty it and snap back in place. I truly enjoy my new vacuum.

I don't like this vacuum cleaner at all and I wish I could return it. Not enough suction,emptying the dirt and dust cup is very messy and is a pain to line up to put back on the unit. The power brush should have a height adjustment for different pile thicknesses. The wand is quite heavy and a pain to adjust.I'm sure I could think of more but this is enough.

I LOVE THIS VACUMN CLEANER! Here's why: It has great suction which you can control via the button on the side of the hose. It's light weight yet very durable, and has great attachments and a sturdy flexible hose. It has a nice retractable power cord and needs NO vacumn cleaner bags. It's very easy to handle. I have a vacumn cleaner I paid $1000 for and I like this Hoover Elite even better than the expensive one. I highly recommend it.

I have purchased Hooever's for many years and thoughtI would try a cannister this time. I purchased the Elite Cyclonic thinking because it was a Hoover, it woud be a good machine. Wrong -- just not powerful enough on carpeting. I feel like I have to go over and over again in the same spot to be sure I am getting everything up. Pretty disappointing.

I bought this vacuum for my stairs..and well the head is too big and doesn't really fit on the stairs. The attachement for the hose is ok but doesn't lock into place-the head moves around alot. It is very easy to carry this up the stairs. The suction is great. Cleaning is easy-but I wish I would have been able to test it out before buying.

I love the vaccume cleaner, and it's very easy to use. I hate to vaccume, so this helped with the problem. The only thing I dislike about it, is that it has a loud whisling sound, but overall I really like it.

this is a great working little machine. Everything about it is easy. Attatchments work easily and there right there at your hands to use. No bending down to grab an attatchmment. actually u really can use this machine almost never having to bend down. obviously u have to plug it in but the power broom unhooks and hooks with a lever u can use with your foot. U can turn it off and on with your foot. after u unplug it the auto rewind u just push with your foot and it winds back in. i have carpet in 4 rooms in the house and i have a cat and this picks up hair great. This has great suction. and u can turn the power broom off with a switch at your hand if u want to use it on floors with smooth surfaces so u dont scratch . it comes with a bristle attatchment for hard floors, linoleum, etc. that easily cleans under cabinets. also the power broom literally can lay horizontal to go underneath chairs or whatever. this machine is very light to move around also. Great value here!!

I liked this vacuum so much I bought a second one. One for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. Initally I thoght I'd be sending it back because the suction was nearly nil. In checking it over I found that one of the 'filters" was a large piece of foam. No wonder it wouldn't suck. I took that out and used it as a template to cut a piece of filter cloth from a shop vac. Using that instead of the piece of foam the suction is just fine.

love, love, love this vacuum, I was going to get the Dyson but researched this one and found this great price on Overstock. It picks up all the hair from my yellow lab and goes easily from carpet to wood floors. Easy to use on my stairs as well. My kids even like vacuuming now.
