Powerful Little Heater!
from Timonium, MD,  Dec 31, 2008

I purchased this heater for my den, which is always cold in the winter. Five minutes or less after I push the power button, the room is toasty warm. It looks good, performs great, and it is priced right. If you need a small heater, definitely consider this model.

Good for a small space
 from Chicago,  Aug 26, 2009

If you are looking for a whole room heater, look elsewhere. This heater is good for small spaces. One thing to consider is that it used a significant amount of electricity for the amount of heat delivered. I used is daily last winter for a whole room and it added about $50 to my monthly heating bill. I used it only as needed after the first month. It does look great, but remember is should be used for short term (and hour or 2) use and small spaces.

I exchanged a few times, timer/temp gauge problems
from Las Vegas, NV,  May 12, 2009

If you are just looking for a small space heater that you can turn on and leave running, then this will work just fine. However, if you want to heat the room to a specific temperature and have the heater turn on as needed to stay at the specified temperature, this is NOT for you. I actually timed how long one of the machines recorded an increase in temperature and it was nearly every 10 seconds. After less than two minutes it said my room had gone from 70 degrees to 95 (the highest setting) although it didn't feel any warmer. I exchanged the machine to find that the other machines had the same problems and one was really loud. ALSO, the timer won't work because it only functions with the temperature gauge, so if the timer is set the machine automatically turns off at 85 degrees (or after about a minute and a half with my machine). Although I really wanted the temperature autostop, I decided to keep the machine. The remote is a great idea, I loved waking up and clicking the heater on from across the room.

Electric Heater
from Green Bay,  Dec 15, 2008

I only had this for 1 1/2 month and it already went out. I'm very disappointed in this product. I loved it when it worked, but "burnt" out too soon.

Great product
from Memphis, TN,  Dec 3, 2008

This heater is excellent. It heats my 14x12 room with no problem. I have had several other portable heaters and this one is by far the best. I love the remote control. Very good product for a good price. Quick delivery.

Honeywell Heater
from Adairsville, GA,  Nov 1, 2008

I bought this heater to lower the bill from using a 220 wall unit. This little heater really warms a room fast and keeps it warm. I use it to heat a living room and adjoining dining room kitchen combination. I can keep the wall unit on 65 now whereas last year I had to use it on 80 all winter long.

Good Ceramic Heater
from Knoxville, Tennessee,  Oct 29, 2008

Product seems to work fairly well. On the downside the temperature function causes the unit to cycle frequently once the heater reaches the preset temperature. It cycles on for about 15 seconds and then off for a few minutes. The fan produces more noise than I expected but is still fairly quiet overall. On the plus side, the heater produces enough heat to keep a good sized room comfortable. The heater can be programmed to oscillate as well as a timer function that can be set to turn the heater off after 1 hour or up to 10 hours. The full function remote is an added benefit. Consumer Reports rated the predecessor of this heater as one of the best and for the price and features I would also recommend this heater.

Ceramic Heater
from Chicago, IL,  Sep 30, 2008

This product is nicer than what I thought. It has high control levels and will heat a big room. I love the way it oscillates like a fan. It's design is nice and it fits well with any room decor. I ordered 2 and want to order one more!

Newer not always better
from Brooklyn, NY,  May 26, 2008

I have an old honeywell heater in my office and I purchased this one because the old one I had was pretty good. Newer is not always better. It has the same tilt safety control which is great but it is 10 times noisier than my old one. The temperature guage doesn't take an accurate temp of the room and so it goes on and off frequently which is annoying. Definitely would not purchase another one

Does the job in a basement TV room
 from Minnesota,  Jan 11, 2012

Remote is a bit confusing, but the heater does a good job of warming a basement room that tends to be too cool in winter. Oscillating helps move warm air around.

Where's the heat?
from washington, dc,  Jul 9, 2011

I would have given this product an "E" for excellent had it not quit on me when I tried using it for its second winter but for that first winter I had the opportunity of using it, I was well pleased. Perhaps its only this particular unit that has but a 3 month life span?? I'm just not willing to chance another one.

Works very well
from Reston, VA,  Mar 30, 2010

This heater worked very well, heating a small, rather drafty room. The thermostat feature was a nice amenity. Heater was very quiet and served it's purpose quite well.

from South Bay, CA,  Jan 25, 2010

I DIDNT WANT TO USE MY GAS CENTRAL HEATING YET, SO I BOUGHT THIS SMALL HEATER. I USED IT ALMOST EVERYDAY FOR 2-3WEEKS IN MY SMALL HOME OFFICE, MY ELECTRIC BILL WENT ALMOST DOUBLE. IT IS NOT THAT QUIET, WONT USE IT IN BEDROOM. YOU WANT TO USE IT ONLY IN SMALL ROOM AND SHORT TIME. I DECIDED TO TURN GAS CENTRAL HEATING, MY GAS BILL WAS CHEAPER AND WHOLE HOUSE IS WARMER!!!

Honeywell Heater
from Dillsburg, PA,  Jan 15, 2010

I sit beside a drafty window so I keep my work area comfortable using this little heater. It has a nice appearance and the remote control makes it even easier to use while working at my desk. When not in use the remote hangs on the side of the heater. The thermostat doesn't seem to work accurately but that would be my only complaint. I would not try to heat an entire room but it does a good job in a small area. I like this heater and would recommend it.
