  • Emits a strange smell on the high settings

    We bought this simply to supplement a den area in our home. The low setting did not seem to produce enough heat to "take the edge off", so we put in on the "high" setting. It smelled like a wet dog or used sweat socks. Very disappointing. I hope this is not inappropriate, but that is the smell emitted from the heater.
