The Honeywell HUT200 CoolMist Filter-free Humidifier arrived in good time and in good condition. I got it set up and it is performing very well. I had no problems and am very pleased with this product. I am using distilled water as I have very hard water and distilled water was recommended in the case of hard water. I am adjusting the setting to "hold" the humidity at a level that seems to really help me with sinus problems that I have if the air is too dry. So far, I am VERY PLEASED with the Honeywell HUT200 CoolMist Filter-free Humidifier

FANTASTIC buy. This is a top fill humidifier... No more dripping water all over the floor, no more carrying heavy items and trying to fill them in bathroom sinks. This is the one to buy. You simply fill the water from the top and turn on the dial. The water circulates itself so no more stagnant water.... Just lots of fresh mist!

Great for the Money
I had a humidifier with a filter before this one and it would get so moldy and black, it was disgusting. I love the fact that there's no filter, you see the mist coming out of the machine and it's quiet.

Worked for a while
I thought this would work really well since it seemed pretty substantial and fool proof but lo and behold, after being stored in its original box over the summer/fall, I took it out to use in Winter 2012. Turned it on and nothing happened. Fortunately, I had purchased the Overstock platinum plan with this product and was able to buy a different humidifier.

Surprisingly AWESOME!
The best thing about this humidifier is the "top fill" water tank, with very little chance you would ever spill the water when pouring unless you just weren't looking down at what you were doing. I just fill up a 2L empty soda bottle each night and pour directly into the top of the humidifier, and done. it holds about 4L, we use 2L per night. I would call our bedroom Med/Large. Our old humidifier cost $100 and just bonked one day and would not turn on. So I bought the 2 year warranty on this one (not expensive). Just in case... I love the sound of this humidifier - it is very subtle waterfalls you can barely hear along with the soft hum of the machine running - i find it soothing and not bothersome AT ALL. I highly recommend this product from a price-point and easy-refill-point. I am very satisfied!

Simply unreliable
The motor is loud and the mist output is just okay. It stopped working yesterday which is ironic that Overstock asked me to review it. It's only saving grace was that you don't have to take a dripping tank off the base to fill it. You just bring a pitcher full of water over to fill the unit. That benefit is useless though when it stops working. As it's in the 90 day window for returns, I will send it back and won't choose to replace it with the same model.

Great uy
Was a little bit concerned about the noise when reading other reviews but decided to buy it anyway. It has been about two months now and I'm very happy with how well it works. It's not noisy at all, it's portable, and most of all it helps my son to breathe better at night when he sleeps. Will definitely recommend it.

Sturdy humidifier that can run for long stints
This humidifier actually blows moisture up instead of forward or straight into the ground like a lot of other models. It has a very large chamber that allows it to run at full volume through the entire night. It is sturdy as well. We have only had the device for a few weeks, but have been running it all night and all weekend and it has not broken.

The product was well made. Great price. Great size. Very quite. The easy water fill feature was wonderful. But it did not help me at all. Actually made it worst. I don't think it was the product. It may have just been me.
