I got these blinds for the kitchen. I wanted to keep it bright but filter the light. They were easy to install, sturdy, and the up/down mechanism works great. I am very happy with this purchase and will probably use these to replace the remaining 2 windows in my living room.

I was hesitant to buy these shades. The price is very reasonable and usually with window coverings you get what you paid for. We have so many windows in our house it would take a small fortune to pay to have all the coverings installed so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. These shades are light but seem to be well-made and function smoothly up and down. The installation was easy. I inside mounted them and the brackets they come with have multiple ways to attach. I appreciated the option that allows you to slide the bracket slightly forward or backward to adjust the depth of the shade perfectly (instead of a small screw hole there are also longer channels that can be screwed into allowing you to slightly move the brackets back and forth before tightening them in place). I also liked that the mounting brackets are able to attach on the backside of the shades rather than on the ends. This allows you to order as close to the width of the window as possible, preventing large gaps on the sides for light to come through. These shades only soften the light and are not blackout ones but I am using them with curtains and together they shut out the light when I want but then I have the option to have diffused light as well. I highly recommend these shades.

They were pretty easy to install. Just had to put in 4 screws. Two in each bracket. The shades just snap into the brackets once they are mounted. The top down works well. The bottom is cordless and it works well to. Looks good. I am happy with the purchase.

I ordered this shade for privacy near the tub and it works like a charm. It's just plain white so the loo is clean. I wanted a shade that almost disappeared when it wasn't in use, and this shade contracts to less than a half inch when pulled up. Nice tight movement on the shade, so I expect this to last for years. And as a nice bonus, it can be hung either from the sides or from the top - so it fits the opening nicely.

Cordfree is the way to go with shades. Insulating qualities without sacrificing light. If your windows are old, and you can fit a wider shade it will help keep drafts from sneaking in around the edges.

Luckily I have installed these type of shades before. There were no instructions on how to install them. They do help keep the rooms from heating up when the sun shines.

I ordered a variety of honeycomb/cellular shades from Overstock in order to fit the four differently sized windows in my place and could not be happier with the results. These shades are terrific and will generally match the other white options on the site. That said, follow the measuring instructions particular to each item's page -- they are not all the same! Read the reviews and you too can have *perfectly* fitting, beautiful shades up in no time.

I ordered 3 shades and they all came extremely quick and were packaged to ensure they arrived undamaged. Installation instructions are absolutely horrible. They don't explain which way to install the brackets, which screws to use for which pieces, or how to attach the blinds to the brackets once installed. Due to the fact that I have very shallow windows, I had to outside mount these shades. I really liked that I did not have to get the location of the brackets in any exact location to ensure they fully covered my windows. Once I had the shades on the brackets I had the flexibility to move them from left to right and center them. The quality is excellent and for the price it simply can't be beat.

We'll see how these wear over time, but I am very impressed with how they look and feel. They look exactly like custom shades but for a fraction of the price. I'm amazed at how easily they slide up and down, and I love that they are cordless as I have little kids. They were super easy to install--it took me about 10 minutes and then I was enjoying my new shades. Plus if you ever need to take them down for cleaning or whatever you can pop them out of the brackets. Simple, easy, and perfect for the price.

I have 72" long windows and cellular shades were just too expensive when I looked for them elsewhere. These fit perfectly and were easy to install. I am very happy with the quality and purchased the blackout version for my bedroom as well. the only thing that didn't go perfectly....there were no directions included, so the first time I looked at them, I was in a hurry, didn't figure how the bracket fit, and consequently put the box away. Last weekend I finally had time, got the box out, was able to see how the bracket went on, got my tools and hung the shades. They look very nice and dress up the windows!
