Ceiling lights
The lights were just what we were looking for and are extremely bright and seemingly energy-efficient. The fact that they have CFL bulbs also means that I will probably NEVER have to replace the bulbs, The price for the quality was also very good.

I ordered two of these fixtures and am pleased. Easily installed and I found a lower wattage bulb at my nearby hardware store for the one installed in a hallway (light is kept on all night for my blind dogs). The brushed stainless is exactly what I wanted and the design proved to be an instant update to the areas installed.

light arrived damaged
The lamp arrived with the glass broken, so I would hesitate to order it again or recommend it. Other than that, it is a good looking fixture.

Very handsome fixture
Just as advertised...I bought two for a stairwell. I liked the design so much I wanted to buy another one for my laundry room, but unfortunately it was not bright enough... I found other similar designs, but at a much higher price. Thanks again, Overstock!!

Requires special bulb
I was very pleased with the way the light looked. It was well built considering the price, and the shape is clean and modern. To me, it's reminiscent of recess lighting, but without all of the work and expense. I would have kept it based on looks, but I discovered that the socket only takes a specialized kind of bulb. This may not be a problem for some people, since the bulb lasts for years and one comes with the box. But, it was a deal breaker for me because I wanted to use an LED bulb, which don't fit, and frankly bulb technology is evolving so quickly that I can't be sure replacements for this non-standard socket will be available in future years.

Good looking light, great price
For the price, these are great lights. We used these light for our laundry room and hallway during a remodel. Our goal was to use only energy efficient lighting throughout the house, and these lights fit the bill. The web site description is accurate and overstock packed them well and shipped them quickly.
