This piece is very nice. It took a while (two hours) to put together, mainly because by the time we got all the legs in, we realized the legs had to be put on a particular way (though the directions did not say) so that the towel handles would fit correctly. So we had to take the thing apart and put it together again. It's nice looking and very sturdy.

  • Heavy, attractive, and functional piece

    Very few complaints on this product. We stacked pots, pans, and baking sheets below and set up the coffee maker/toaster on top with a cutting board, like a breakfast bar. Looks more expensive than it was; like an authentic industrial piece. Fairly easy to assemble despite the heaviness of it. Would like the concrete top to be a flat polished color rather than having a dappled appearance, but that's a quibble. This was a great find.

    I have a metal dining table and bakers rack and I searched for a similar kitchen cart for years because I wanted a beautiful, sturdy, high quality metal kitchen cart that will last a lifetime. I am very happy with my purchase. I watched a professional unbox and assemble it in under two hours. This cart ships in two boxes, one for the base and another for the top. Both boxes are heavy. You have to make sure you put the legs on the right side of the table so the holes for the towel racks will be in the right place. I hardly ever write reviews but I wanted to write a review for this cart because it is high quality and I don' t think you can go wrong with this one.

  • is the 48 inch width with the towel bars? are the towel bars removable? if so, what is the width without the towel bars?

    • Hello lexlucia, you could leave off the towel racks during assembly, however, there will be visible holes on the sides. Removing the towel racks will reduce the size of this cart by approximately 3 inches on each side. Thank you for shopping with us.

  • Would I have to attach the bottom shelf? I would prefer to use this as a small kitchen island/breakfast bar and be able to use it with backless kitchen stools where we could sit to have morning coffee etc.
