    This bed was better than expected. Came in the mail in 3 business days in 4 boxes. Obviously a little bit of assembly, tools needed are included (oh wait you will need a phillips head screwdriver). Assembly only took about 20 minutes by myself. The framework if good solid hardwood, the cherry inserts are a little bit thinner but still good quality. The posts are black and the inserts are a dark cherry stain. We have dark red stained mahogany dressers and it matches perfectly. The hardware included are nice sized nuts and bolts, so once assembled it's a solid piece of furniture. Very happy with this purchase

    Very bad experience with this bed. The bed is made with a pressed wood. A key piece of the bed frame cracked when we tried to set it up. Overstock sent out a replacement piece, and we successfully set up the bed. Last night, the bed frame cracked again, sending the mattress to the floor. Overstock will only take the bed back if we still have the shipping crates, which we don't. Do not buy this bed under any circumstances.

  • How tall is this bed from floor to the top of the headboard it looks like its more than 42 inches as the media center in the same collection is 42 inches hing and it is clearly much shorter.....
