As I wrote for the Queen Bed that I also purchased at the same time. I was not expecting to assemble the entire dresser and all its components. It does state assembly required, but I was not anticipating the whole thing. The only thing that was assembled was the sliders to the side of the dresser, that is it. Everything else is you putting it all together. That being stated up front. The instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. The box was a two person lift (155lbs) so moving it upstairs required some help. It took approximately 3 hours to assemble the entire dresser. Be prepared to set aside this amount of time. It is very sturdy after it is fully assembled. I used only a screw driver and did everything by hand, this way it did not damage the wood/press wood if I made a mistake; with a cordless screw driver it would have been faster but there is no room for error. If I would have known how it came, I might have not bought this item for the price.

  • Good piece of furniture for the price

    This media chest is a good piece of furniture for the price. It is mostly well-made and was fairly easy for two people to assemble in just under two hours. The drawers have larger gaps than any other furniture we've bought or assembled before and you can see into the drawers more than we would like. Thinking this could have been an error in our assembly, we did un- and reassemble the drawers but with the same result. However, it is a sturdy and very attractive piece of furniture that matches our existing furniture very well, making this an excellent find for us.
