The table is super. Easy to put together and sturdy when finished. There is a design flaw in that there is only the one hole in the table to hold an umbrella and even with a heavy base, it didn't work We have had to put something halfway down under the table. Would be simple for the manufacturers to fix I should think. The chairs, however, were really, really hard to put together. Poor instruction and a lot of strength is needed. One of our chairs has the enamel chipped as a consequence.

  • Perhaps Not Worth Price

    The slate table top of this product is certainly attractive. The design of the chairs is also attractive; however, when I assembled the chairs, I found that in most cases, the joints were so poorly machined that the assembly screws would not fit. Of the six chair, with six joints per chair, exactly three joints fit exactly without modification. I had to widen the holes on all of the remaining joints with a drill and a metal bit, and in three cases I had to completely re-drill the joint and create new threads (for which I used my own hardware). The table hardware fit somewhat better, but all in all, I was expecting significantly better quality for the price.
