When I got the box with the headboard in it the description was queen size and I was concerned that I made a mistake. It was so nice that I didn't want to return it and was willing to buy the mattress and box springs for a queen size just to use it. After I put it together I realized it fit both sizes. It was very easy to assemble on top of everything else. I am very happy with my purchase.
