The only real issue I had assembling these was the bottom stretcher. I had to use a rubber mallet to get the screw holes to line up, but after a few blows, it all fit. Do not tighten up anything completely until all the screws and nuts are in place. Once assembled, however, they look really good, are a nice large size, and are very comfortable. I wish I had room for two more, but my apartment balcony is too small for them. Very sturdy product.

    These chairs are very good looking. That is the only nice thing I can say. We had numerous problems with putting them together! The holes for the arms attaching to the back of the chair are way too big for the screw that is supposed to hold them together. My husband got some plastic bushings to fix that problem. Several of the plastic pieces on the bottom of the chairs have cracked or broken. We have received replacement parts for those. The piece on the bottom that attaches to the legs had 1 oversized hole. The replacement part they sent has ALL OVERSIZED HOLES. They must not have any outgoing QC in their factory as it would be quite simple to ensure the holes in the cast parts are small enough for the screws to hold pieces together. Really, really disappointed, especially for the money that we paid!!

  • This was a very poor purchase

    It started with the chairs being so poorly manufactured that they could barely be assembled. The help information provided by the company was as useless as the instructions, which were barely legible. And, after putting together 8 of them, three of them promptly fell apart when someone sat on them. Worst of all, the company wanted nothing to do with providing replacement parts, leaving me with the undesirable task of disassembling and returning 8 patio chairs. Do yourself a favor, if you were looking at these, keep looking elsewhere.

  • They're junk and theyre going back (good riddance)

    Eight chairs - each with such poor quality control that not one of them could be properly aligned for assembly without serious contortion. Poor in every sense of the word - they looked nice, but that was about it. After spending several hours to assemble this garbage, I unleashed a set of unsuspecting house guests, one of which fell to the floor (and I'm lucky I'm not being sued along with aggravated). By the end of the night, three chairs were rendered inoperable. To make matters worse, Home Styles was completely useless. They have a helpdesk - who they intend to assist is beyond me. They had no suggestions when none of the parts could be properly aligned for assembly. No suggestions beyond 'did you use the levelers' when none of the chairs was even close to level. And when it came time for replacement parts? They offered to replace 'up to 3-4 parts' when 3 of my 8 chairs were broken (several parts snapped in half due to poor casting and design). I needed 6 parts for 3 chairs - and they offered 'up to 3-4'. To make matters worse, Overstock disappointed me further, offering me the option of accepting a $100 credit (out 3 chairs, each costing $130) in total, or taking delivery of 2 chairs and using parts to replace the broken ones, and returning the rest. So, I'd get 2 chairs for the 3 that broke, and I'd have to take delivery, assemble, and return 2 of the chairs. The whole set is heading back, and I would like never to have to deal with Home Styles or Overstock ever again. Pity this soured me on Overstock, I had a good opinion of their support up until this point, but I have never been so disappointed with a purchase, and I'm not going to be fooled twice in such a manner.

    With the caution that it was not so easy to assemble. It is a two-person job, and the holes were misaligned enough to make it harder. Be really careful where you are using short bolts, long bolts, etc, as the difference on the diagram is not so easy to see.
